    Because the exploration and development in Bakken was begun under Bush. Since it was on private soil, Obama could do nothing to stop it or he would have.

    There were thousands and thousands of leases available on Federal lands... always have been. Nobody wanted to drill on Federal lands ever.. and the oil business was in a horrible slump during the Bush years. Take some time to learn about the oil business.

    During President Bush's last year in office, 2008, U.S. crude oil production averaged 5.0 million bpd. The irony is that President Obama - who is not viewed as a friend of the oil and gas industry - has presided over rising oil production in each of the seven years he has been in office.

    The Houthies with the weapons coming from Iran with weapons paid for with the cash Nadler sent the Mullahs to develop a nuclear weapon. Nadler had help from his caucus when he and the Democrats set out to prevent us from selling the Saudi's arms to defend themselves. Democrats own the increase in oil prices and are responsible for the attack on our retirement attacks. The only question is whether they will admit their culpability.

    LOLOL.. If oil price per barrel hadn't increased the domestic oil production would still be less than 5 million bpd.

    Basic economics says that if it will cost more to produce the oil from shale or wherever than the market price, you leave it in the ground until it is profitable.

    Did you read their article on indoctrination of school children? The studies they are pushing would cause riots if it were the Christian Bible. Now people learning about Islam is ok but not as school curriculum. We are at war with Islamic cultures, do you think they are teaching their children to understand us and live side by side in peace?

    Yep as well as refinery costs and market demand. Most US wells produce under 50 barrels a day and we still have the highest lift costs in the world... That's why Texas Intermediate or even Brent will be a dollar more than OPEC.

    It looks like that the Trump administration isn't going to prematurely jump to conclusion that it was Iran who used just not small drones but cruise missiles to attack the Sadias refinery.

    We remember when the Bush (43) prematurally claimed that Saddam Hussein had WMD's.

    Re:Trump's reelection:

    It's just not snowflakes, liberal Democrats and progressives who have been inflicted with TDS and have formed the "resistance" to take down Donald Trump. But Iran also has been inflicted with TDS along with Al Qaeda, ISIS, Muslim Brotherhood, Islamist jihadist, Chi-Coms, illegal aliens, MS-13, the drug cartels, the globalist and the world's oligarchies and the New World Order have also been inflicted with TDS.

    They did nothing in that article except inform what was being included in the school curriculum. It's an indoctrination program and is introducing young people to a different religion. Public schools cannot teach the nuts and bolts of Catholicism.

    Well, I've thought it was the freight costs from Cushing, OK to the gulf. Before they reversed the pipeline from Cushing to the Gulf, there was a glut of oil that had to be distributed to midwest refineries. Those were some good times at the pump.

    We have alot of small wells in my area. A minimum of 21 acres qualifies. A restaurant about 1/2 mile away was part of a consortium that combined to make up the minimum acreage. The owner negotiated a deal for the natural gas. A restaurant without an energy bill is quite the gold mine.
