I really enjoyed the male humour in here. It is one reason I enjoy talking to men in large mixed groups. Women tend to be bitchy and catty. Men are more understated and oblique.

Put a bunch of women together and they skirt ( no pun intended) around politics. Men go straight for the confrontational. Sometimes the real issue is actually the battle and not the subject.

My interest in politics is one of many things I enjoy but I also look for the thinking process...is the argument logical and consistent. It comes from my interest in use of language, propaganda, slant, emotive language etc.

When my Father taught me to drive he taught me to parallel park and also to use a stick shift. Backing up with a trailer is not a problem either.

Then there is also the EncoreGX that will park for you and some cars have easy turn. Parallel parking could be a breeze.

Many years ago I read a study that concluded that the overwhelming majority of women in internet forums do not identify, or intentionally conceal their gender. And, the majority of forum members who openly claim to be women, are actually men.

 

Ah, my bad. I came to my erroneous belief, mostly because of something you had written about your husband. I would have to see the comment again, to know what had made it seem to me that you had been depicting a heterosexual relationship, and so why I had dismissed the possibility of a same sex husband.

I still think you are my only mistake on that list (and, ironically, one of the few from the list, who will probably ever see it). Nevertheless, I'm glad to have been corrected.
