Why doesn't socialism work?

You mind explaining to me why I should pay for your child’s healthcare, daycare, college or training and your parental leave?

Further I love your side who say the “rich need to pay their fair share”. What percentage of their income is their “fair share” in your opinion? 40%? 50%? 70%? 90?

The crime wave is not caused by rich people. It’s caused by black people. Remove the absurdly high rate of crime by blacks and the crime rate in America is comparable to most other nations and is in fact lower.

But I digress. Would you mind telling me what would happen if you tax rich people at a 50 or 60% rate? Never mind, let’s do this.

You have a country and I have a country. You tell the rich you’re going to tax them at 50 or 60%. I tell the rich I’m going to tax them at 25%. Where do you think the rich people, their money and their businesses are going to go? Do you think they’re just going to be altruistic and take that tax on the chin? Or are they going to move to my country?

crime is caused by poverty and inequality and hopelessness in a unfair Savage capitalist country like this after 35 years of GOP screwjob and give away to the rich. The rich aren't going anywhere stop being ridiculous. They'll like it a lot better when everyone else is happy too like every other modern country. Or screw them they can live it up in Guatemala or whatever and we should screw them.

 

If you screw the rich who, for the most part, are business owners, where do you expect people to work?

 

I'm not talking about screwing the rich I'm talking about getting them to pay their fair share like they used to. That is it dumb argument too. when you have cheap college and training and a successful middle class the rich people do just as well anyway. Maybe a smaller yacht.
