Yes I've heard that, but not really experienced it in my two. More common complaint is weight gain though. Also not really an issue for mine though fortunately.

What makes you think there's a correlation? Don't marry a frigid person just because she's attractive, would be my advice. For somebody like me, don't marry only for personality if the mutual attraction isn't strong, either.

But don't expect excitement like a new relationship forever either. Work is involved in maintaining it.

The fact that you think it takes "expertise" to acknowledge basic reality is yet another part of the problem.

Same sex relationships and how they are conducted is a niche field of study. I simply bow to your superior expertise in the subject.

I didn't even specify same sex. I just said it is okay for a man to say no, and that it isn't okay for anyone to violate that. If you think it takes "expertise" to know that, seek help. Don't worry, though, I got the homophobic bull **** you were childishly attempting in order to make fun of male rape.

Some are. I have some straight friends and the amount at which this sort of thing happens surprised me. One friend dated a woman for six years. The two last year's they were sexless. They were dating not even married.

Seems to me the best strategy a man has to buy get in this position is never get married to a woman. Don't live together either.

Where did you hear that? I thought they were cool with divorce & abortion for any reason.

Up is down, and down is up these days.......now liberals are the sworn defenders of marriage, and populists are pro-divorce

IMO people here are speaking of their personal lives.

Thanks for sharing your take on it, but this has actually been studied.

    Have you considered marriage counselling?

How often do married couples have sex?
    https://www.menshealth.com/sex-women/a40078227/how-often-do-married-couples-have-sex/

According to a 2017 study by the Archives of Sexual Behavior, the average American married couple has sex 56 times a year, which is around once a week. Experts in TIME and Prevention quote similar numbers, with 51 and 52 times a year, respectfully.

Since you couldn't follow what we were discussing, maybe you shouldn't have said anything, since same sex relations were specifically what we were talking about? I'm sorry if you missed that entire issue, but it does explain why you were fantasizing about "homophobic bull ****"

I was actually giving you credit (twice!) for knowing about the topic, but I see now you never knew anything and just wanted to troll. OK you successfully trolled. Congratulations.

    Oh there's definitely a correlation.

As for the rest, I wouldn't know. I've only been married 20 years.

"Liberals are the sworn defenders of marriage" was worth reading through this thread for that laugh alone.

I get that. It just seems strange to me that so many men, and women, have such negative opinions of their partners and their intentions. It’s quite the trope in tv and comedy, so I assume there’s at least some truth to it. Maybe more people could stand to seek couples counseling.

Guys are perfectly capable of withholding sex. I don’t think I need to get into details, but there are plenty of ways to fulfill a physical need should it arise, without having to cheat on the relationship.

I know you’re making jokey jokes right now, but just to be clear, you’re not of the opinion that men can’t be raped by women, are you?

    A reasonable assessment.

First of all my "kidnapping" story is not entirely fictional. The worst part was that I had a bicycle race after I was dropped off at home at sunrise.

As to your question, I'm not sure how a woman could rape a man except by using some sort of inanimate object for anal penetration.
I suppose that a female job supervisor could demand that a man have sex with her or lose his job and that might be considered as rape.
I also know of cases in which an older female teacher seduced a male juvenile student. That, as you know, is considered statutory rape.

So, the short answer is: "Yes, I do believe that men can be raped by women."

Are there additional examples you had in mind?

    Thanks,

Probably because it's a completely stupid idea that a woman owes sex to her husband and vice versa.

You’ve described at least a few situations I had in mind, so it sounds like we are mostly on the same page.

Drugs, alcohol, and other intoxicants could be employed. Not respecting the revocation of consent during a sexual encounter as well.

I’m sure you’ve encountered an erection at some point in your life that you did not consent to. Considering that along with the fact that rape does not require physical resistance, I think it’s quite reasonable to say that woman can, and have, rape men.
