Our President is a traitor who criminally stole the election, I find that to be the chief underlying problem we have. President Pence should serve out his term and maybe try to repair some of the damage he has caused.

A disk image is not the same as access to the actual hard drive. Deleted data (that someone might not want discovered) could be recovered from hard drive that would not even show up on a disk image. That is the purpose of having access to the hardware.

 

The deleted files might be able to be restored on the actual hard drive. Not so on a disk image of that hard drive.

Even though Hillary did actually commit perjury, it would serve no purpose to convict her and would be quite detrimental. The only benefit to convicting her for perjury is the dissuasive effect on future political figures. I think her circumstances are very unique and it is unlikely anyone else will ever emerge with comparable conditions.

 

I have my doubts they could get a conviction even if became obvious she lied. The trial would be extremely divisive, just like putting Trump on trial would be when he leaves office.

They don't control the Senate, and that's a real problem.
