No way. If Biden somehow finds a way to hold on to the presidential nomination, his handlers are not going to expose him to that again. They are hoping that the voters will have short memories and forget what happened last week.
ABC News will host the second debate between President Biden and Donald Trump on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at 9 p.m. Eastern Time. This date, time, and conditions were agreed to before the first debate. Now brandon and his people have a problem. They absolutely cannot allow a second train wreck as we saw on June 27. But they also cannot simply withdraw and offer up some lame excuse, like "Joe has a prior commitment" or "Joe isn't feeling well" or "trump's remark yesterday is so offensive we aren't going to debate him". SO. The two options are; 1) Somehow juice brandon up so he at least appears to be cogent for 90 minutes. 2) Find a good reason to decline a further debate with trump. I simply can't imagine what excuse they could offer to pull brandon out of the already agreed to and scheduled debate. My guess is they'll try to juice him up as they did for his State of the Union address. But, there is real risk in doing that. If it leaked, it would truly end the brandon administration. If it somehow didn't work, it would cement America's opinion that brandon needs to step aside. Now.
I am waiting for Biden to break down completely. He can't stay on "happy juice" day after day in order to have enough energy give his stump speeches. They are also going to have to very careful about how he acts during the 75th NATO anniversary celebration. The saving grace is that he doesn't have to get on a plane to go to it. I don't think that he was on "happy juice" for the White House 4th of July celebration. He flubbed many lines, and sometimes looked like a lost soul, wondering around the grounds.
How can Biden not show up? If his handlers hide him in the basement this time, he'll be finished for sure. Oh, they'll have him solidly 'juiced' this next time -- and that's why Trump should INSIST that both he and Geriatric Joe take drug tests before any debate takes place! ."Hunter's right -- that stuff's really great ****!"
I'm almost positive he will have been replaced before the next debate. He is declining fast, and there will be at least a million more "old man" moments between now and then. All cameras are watching his every move now. No way another debate happens, at least not by Biden.
Trump will push for one so he can get Biden up in front of the country again and remind people what a husk he is. Biden may even want to do it, but his team won't. Trump knows it doesn't matter how bad he does himself, his voters have gotten rid of any standards they once had and would vote for him even he if he was worse off than Biden. The debate would be about showing the rest of the voters how far Biden has declined. It would be a can't-lose situation for Trump and good political strategy.
Playing golf with brandon would be a no win deal for Trump. If Trump won everyone would call him a big fat bully for beating up on the old senile guy. If Trump lost everyone would go wait. What??
