How far we have come. For anyone who doesn't know, Candid Camera was a TV show back in the 1960s, that set up gags and then filmed people's reactions. It was a hugely popular show and made several comebacks in later years.

The set up for this gag was, the passengers and a stewardess were introduced to a woman they were told would be flying the plane. Priceless!!! It was 1963.

We've progressed so far that now we can't define the term woman!

I can. You might want to do some introspection on that one. ;)

I can as well but in doing so will tear down the facade created to placate the transgender community.

    So society says we shouldn't.

How about Betty Skelton. She soloed in a Taylorcraft at 12, licensed pilot at 16, commercial pilot license at 18, instructor certificate at 20. For a while, she held the world light-plane altitude record (in a Piper Cub) and the speed record for a piston-engine aircraft (in a P-51). She flew NASCAR charters in the 50s...and ran 105mph on the sand in a Dodge Lancer later that day.
