I work with 2 gays. they don't bother me, they know I know how they roll. it is what it is. no hate.

My opposition in the case of "GAY marriage" is because of the Constitutional requirements of equal protection.

Yeah, I kinda do know the replacement level for the individual. It's one per person, shouldn't have to explain that...A couple having more than two children are exceeding their replacement level. Why should the government support your children and encourage you to have more when we already have more than enough people in this country?

First off, what you think is "normal and natural" is irrelevant to this topic. A lot of things in this world aren't "natural" (ie paying taxes), you still do those things. Suckling from the government teet while doing your best to ensure that others can't get to that teet is not "normal", most people don't do that. People should have children so as to provide revenue for the state? People aren't cattle...

If you are arguing that we should do away with government marriage, then we are in agreement. However, until that happens, I hope you will also agree with me that the law must be applied equally to all consenting adult citizens--particularly with regard to the arbitrary stipulation to gender in the current statutes of most states.
