No they should pay more taxes because they are a greater burden on society because they do not contribute to on-going human evolution. They are stagnate.

I'm not the one claiming less crime if homosexuals are given State marriage licenses...that would be YOU...Prove it or stuff it.

How? Because homosexuals will stop whining? The liberal mantra...create a problem then come up with a half-a$$ed solution. Yeah that's MUCH better....

WTF are you talking about? Creating unwanted children you can't support is a burden on a society.

Being a law-abiding, tax-paying couple who takes in children off the streets to raise as a family...no, that's not a burden.

I told you I ain't doing your homework.

We will be one step closer to equality for all human beings.

And you don't have to support gay "marriage" just because you don't hate gays.

The only reason to oppose marriage equality, is that you hate gays.

Yeah, thats why they encourage heterosexuals to marry. Makes a stable home more likely, the children less likely to need assistance.

A wide variety of people do that. The homosexuals are but a tiny percentage of those who do. Nothing special about those who happen to be gay.

Which has no effect whatsoever upon their need for government support, other than lessen it.

Making your constant references to "gays" and "gay marriage" all the more revealing.

How retarded is this statement. ^^

I work with 2 gays. they don't bother me, they know I know how they roll. it is what it is. no hate.

Just because you wish to change the laws of the land don't mean we're hating, just means we're pointing out that it's wrong, perverted and misguided way of life. that's just truth, not hate.

I'll say this one more time and I'm done.... Marriage is a SACRED UNION ORDAINED BY GOD.

It's not some gimmick ritual for blaspheming gays to tarnish and soil.

if you don't like it...don't try to get married. just live together like you're already doing now.

and Stop trying to get a tax break....lol..those are priviledges for married folk..lol

No, it's hate. If you oppose equal rights under the law for minority groups, that's hate.

Rights are opposed to anyone that's trying to break/change the laws.

If I go out and shoot my neighbors' dog that's against the LAW, but it's still well within my rights to shoot it.

    got that?

Some things we don't do because was just KNOW they are wrong, not because we hate them.

My brother smokes tons of funny cigarettes but I don't hate him, I just don't approve of what he does.

If you don't want want to get married to someone of the same sex, then don't get a gay marriage. People who want to do so have a right to it, and there is nothing wrong with it.

My opposition in the case of "GAY marriage" is because of the Constitutional requirements of equal protection.

Now the the equal protection clause of the Constitution forbids marriage equality? That's a new one.

Ahh, so you're dropping the procreation angle and going with the nuclear family angle? I already addressed that as well. Please answer the questions I put forth on that subject:

"Then there's the nuclear family argument. Does anyone believe for a second that people get married for tax benefits? Who here has gotten married because they wanted the benefits that the government was handing out? Who here would NOT have gotten married if those benefits weren't present? Show of hands please. Let's put this idea to the test."

Yeah, I kinda do know the replacement level for the individual. It's one per person, shouldn't have to explain that...A couple having more than two children are exceeding their replacement level. Why should the government support your children and encourage you to have more when we already have more than enough people in this country?

Of course not, it's all the benefits that result from a marriage license that constitutes the teet of government. That's the teet that you and your cohorts are clinging to so desperately and are so loathe to share.

First off, what you think is "normal and natural" is irrelevant to this topic. A lot of things in this world aren't "natural" (ie paying taxes), you still do those things. Suckling from the government teet while doing your best to ensure that others can't get to that teet is not "normal", most people don't do that. As for your ridiculous argument about homosexuals not producing new taxpayers...are you effing kidding me? When did you go full bore liberal? People should have children so as to provide revenue for the state? People aren't cattle...

And I'll say again--then why did you let the government take it over?

But fine for the government to co-opt into civil law?

Equality under the law's (*)(*)(*)(*)(*), eh?

You don't have to believe that the government has business in the religious ritual called marriage if you like butt sex. C'mon, I thought regressives were all about separation of church and state. So, separate them.

Based on the "logic" employed in most of your posts, I'm going to say it's not just your brother.

Dixie likes to play word games. You can't take him seriously. You can hit on him--because I believe he is a deeply-closeted self-loathing homosexual--but you can't take him seriously.

If you are arguing that we should do away with government marriage, then we are in agreement. However, until that happens, I hope you will also agree with me that the law must be applied equally to all consenting adult citizens--particularly with regard to the arbitrary stipulation to gender in the current statutes of most states.
