i tell yah ok this is my take on this, women feminist like to view a male as a suboardanite beta , so they like a baby face man to view at ,it reminds them of a baby they can control . all of this is part of the feminist programing that started in england back in the 1800s when shavers and barbers came into popularity thus imataiting the wealthy, then it was passed into the larger citys of the usa.

 

I dunno, I find it looks more professional to shave rather than have a beard. That's why our military requires shaving. Not sure why they allow mustaches though.

I am very happy with my beard- and I still think this is one of the stupidest threads.

Why do men prefer blondes or big boobs? Seriously, make up your own mind whether you prefer to grow a beard or not, and no matter what you prefer for yourself, there is a woman out there how will prefer that look.

I feel no need to justify my beard, nor a need to judge why others chose not to have a beard- or why some woman prefer one and not the other.

The principle behind shaving in the military is that it is another means of instilling discipline. It is something you have to be diligent about in that you have to do it daily. There's also the matter of professionalism. Ironing your BDU's and staying clean-shaven lend to the perception of a professional military. I still miss No-shave November.

Why would I ask or care if a woman likes my macho, masculine beard or not?

When I throw them over my shoulder and carry them away, they all come regardless of what they say!

I hate beards, they look so scruffy and untidy and make you look a lot older.

 

My wife doesnt like kissing hair, and like you say it makes you look older...

nature created me with facial hair, in my opinion its kind of de-evolutionary in a way to shave.

Now that's an interesting study.
My husband and I have discussed it many times over. He loves to sport a well groomed beard, often lets it grow fuller during the winter months...some hang up of his to keep his face warm.
Frankly, I don't care, as long as its clean. Never did. I think it tickles when we kiss, but have gotten used to it.
Some men look better with beard, some look better without.
And that's my own scientific conclusion on the subject.

I use to sport a mustache, but when I met my wife I was clean shaven. About a year in she wanted to see what I looked like with a beard. I've had one ever since at her request. I guess she is not much of a feminisrt. Oh wait. I know that for a fact!

I don't know how much credibility the claim is this is a feminist movement. Fashion goes in cycles.
