Waiting till the eighth day has been shown to have certain health 'benefits' for the baby which i won't go into at this time other than healing and clotting factors are maxed. The physicians would find it a faster and easier and less complication potential if they'd do it when factors are optimum.

No i won't go into the health benefits other than to say that little boys are easier to keep clean in that area. It is not pleasant or easy for little boys to have that foreskin pulled back and then cleaned by mom or dad. And then they've got that task for themselves at some point throughout their adult lives. Secondly, how many women do you know that have no problem with uncircumcized male lovers. How many of you guys are uncircumcized and you're lovin' it?

 

And is that because you are a woman so you don't have any and so you are envious of those who have big ones?

Did you know that in the USA, the cut off foreskins of the babies are "recycled" and re-worked in cosmetic creams for women? It's horrendous!

The foreskin gets more flexible over time, and only comes "loose" as natures has intended to be so, when it is ready to be put to use. During childhood, the foresking doesn't really retract. When you're about 12 y.o. your dad will start mentioning to "not forget to keep it clean over there son" -- which is about the age the foreskin comes "loose" and can be retracted slowly at first, and gradually more easily until it becomes the most natural thing.

My guess is that 12 y.o. boys don't let their mothers or fathers wash their penises...

 

I feel sorry for your male children and grandchildren...

...but to name a few. A few of these sources even go over the risk associated with circumcision to show both sides of the coin, but I'm guessing a study is only scientifically sound if you agree with it.

Please explain then. Also, explain the numerous studies that have found medical benefits to circumcision...such as lower rates of STDs and cancer. I'm not necessarily advocating for it, but its definitely not some "horrible" operation without merit.

Actually, i think women prefer circumcized males. There is always the possibilty that your uncircumcized one night stand sexual partner is a little lax on personal hygience. If i'm not mistaken, i remember some stats on health and disease related infections and conditions that are detrimental to the overall health of the uncircumcized guy.

Jazzerman already provided plenty of solid sources. Heck, just goggle circumcision and you'll get plenty of legitimate sources. Why on earth would I take the time to transcribe the methodology of every study to you when the actual papers themselves provide this information to you?

 

I think its a cultural thing. American women for obvious reasons tend to prefer it while European women are likely more comfortable with intact foreskins.
