Well, secular schools promote the perversion and disorder of homosexuality, so they are no better.

If I had to choose between the lesser of two evils, I'd rather have my kid believe in a Loch Ness monster than believe its normal for a man to jam his penis in another man's anus. The former is an interesting tale and the latter is just perverted.

Yep, tell that to the paedophile catholic priests currently rogering little boys, under the auspices of their ex-Hitler Youth boss. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/sep/15/paedophile-priests-active-church-role

    The USA gave them it?

Perhaps we should send an Israeli team to find Nessie, then it'll be resolved once and for all.

Ahhhhh, big deal. Some people believe that aliens come and visit us, and that's proof that we were planted here by ETs. These guys believe there's a dinosaur swimming around in the Scottish Highlands, and that's proof that, um, people use to walk around with dinosaurs? Whatever. I don't believe anything anymore unless there's a video of it posted on YouTube.

My kids, my school district. But I'm sure that's the only time it's EVER happened in government indoctrination camps, right?

Nice try, but a teacher has control of children. To say they're not forced is quite frankly either dishonest or completely naive.

So, an example of this forcible viewing is going to be forthcoming? When?

I hate to agree with you, but I don't think you went far enough. It's more than a tacit endorsement. That, along with the church's resistance to justice being sought makes this entire affair a criminal conspiracy. I have yet to see the Catholic Church make a hard line stance, backed up with ACTIONS, to remedy the situation.

And I say that as a person raised Catholic, and who taught my own children in Catholic CCD classes for years.

If people can't make a stand against priests molesting little children, where will they make a stand?

That said, I am not questioning Catholic Crusader's sincerity of beliefs in his religion. We all have a right to religious liberty.

Well, we have to agree on something! Perhaps I didn't go far enough; priests are still being moved from diocese to diocese when exposed, and Catholics are urged to pray for them in order to absolve their sins. I was raised a Catholic too.

As soon as you show kids are being forced to learn the Loch Ness monster is real.

    LOL

And Adam wouldn't let Eve ride the dinosaurs. See, men have been pigs since day one. ;)

    Unfortunately, Nessie is not real.

Why unfortunately? Somehow, the idea of a "monster" that has never harmed anybody and runs/swims away when humans come near amuses me. All I can picture is some sort of dinosaur-like critter quietly minding its own business until a human comes along. The "monster" screams EEEEEK like some sort of maiden aunt caught naked, takes off in terror like you put 2,000 volts up it, and hides. Besides, a "monster" named Nessie is sort of funny in a cute way.

Yes, I am thrilled at the idea of this being a dinosaur, not so pumped up when they try to tell me its a sturgeon.

This is exactly why capitalism should be instituted in the education system. If you don't think that the school is doing a good job at educating your child, then put them in a different school. Problem solved.

But lets analyze how the left views this situation. Its a private school, and as such the concepts of competition are as described above. If you don'ta agree with this creationism lesson, then take the student to a different educational institution, because after all this is a private school.

But nope, that isn't how the left wants to play as is usual. They hate competition and a capitalist free market system. So instead, they desire to FORCE this private institution to change to their liking.

“I don’t believe they should be publicly funded, I don’t believe the schools who use these texts should be publicly funded,” Wilson told The Herald.

    Read more: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/wor...isiana-school-article-1.1102340#ixzz1yuO5T7S8

So, this private school accepts government vouchers as a form of payment for tuition, and now suddenly its "publicly funded" meaning that the left wants to tell them what they can and can not teach? Get the (*)(*)(*)(*) out of here.

If I was an administrator at this school, I would say "fine, no more vouchers". (*)(*)(*)(*)ing pricks.

I am so tired of the lefts skirting of acceptance of the free market system. If you don't want your kid to hear this lesson, or creationism in general, THEN DON'T (*)(*)(*)(*)ING SEND YOUR KID TO THIS SCHOOL.

Its not a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing complicated concept.

This is a gross misrepresentation of the truth.

While there was a Y-chromosomal Adam and a Mitochondrial Eve, they more than likely lived thousands of years apart. Y-chromosomal Adam lived some 60K to 142K years ago. Mitochondrial Eve lived some 190K - 200K years ago.

There may not be one 'single source'. From the Y-chromosomal Adam page:

Good job misrepresenting the truth

There has not been an experiment in inner city test beds were school choice was harmful. On the contrary the children and families empowered by choice did fundamentally better in their core subjects.

Refusing to allow this is really petty. They failed but they want 50 more chances to prove that they can get it right. At what point to do we stop choosing to value the teachers over the students and put them into a competitive system?

I'm all for paying teachers more if the can provide results. This can only happen if teachers are allowed to control their own curriculum and utilize whatever method works best. I realize that the teachers in these public schools are just as trapped by the machine as the students.

Open it up to competition and they all benefit.

Hmmmm......yet another myth fearing righty who hates homosexuality. How quaint. The only real perversion and disorder in this world is religion.

Since you believe in one myth already, whats the harm in another – right?
