Dick Morris usually does. He was right in 2010 and wrong in 2012, or did you just forget 2010? We're not without liberals who predicted after 2008 the GOP was done for all time. Weren't you one of them?

The GOP may do well in 2014. Sitting Presidents usually do poorly because of overreach. There is one other phenomenon- the Obama vote. I've never seen elections jump and fall so much when a President is on or off the ticket. W/o Obama on the ticket, the Democrats lose many unlikely voters they otherwise would have had.

That was the crazy Tea Party movement... and it lasted less than 2 years. That fad is done, now the Repubs have to figure out how to be normal again otherwise they are going to lose every election here on out. Majority of the country blames the Repubs for the mess we are in because people can see with their own eyes the crazy obstructionist, liars they have become.

Obama bought himself time by blaming Bush, in a normal circumstance he would have lost since he spent much more than the guy he called irresponsible.

    No I was not....

BTW, did you know Dick ADMITTED he was lying about his "Romney landslide" prediction, but said it was his "duty" to fool you guys?

Sure and "in normal circumsntance", Alf Landon should have beaten FDR in 1936.

You just made that up. Obama rarely if ever brought up Bush's name. Saying stuff like, "I inherited an economy tumbling to depression", is not blaming Bush. It's just stating a simple fact. People are dumb, but there is enough smart people to understand that Obama was handed a pile of chit and with the Republican's obstructing him at every turn, it's been very difficult for him to get anything done. People are on to your game, can't wait til 2014 when we gain full control!

Hillary will have much the same effect with women, although I don't like the idea much. Please, pick out a rational Republican (of the non-tax-cheat, non-outsourcing variety) to oppose her.

After every election cycle, there are nutters that predict the end of (insert Republican of Democratic party name here.). And while I can only hope it to be true becasue both parties are layered in scum and filth, it is inane.

Morris is right about his history. The 6th year jinks has been a long establish trend. Of course 1998 showed it doesn't always happen. And there has never been a Congress as unpopular as the current one.

For the Republicans to do well in 2014 they will need to convince the American people they have better ideas than Obama and can govern more effectively if given a bigger majority. From everything I'm seeing in the House right now they have a very long ways to go.

If the Republicans decide to thrown in the towel when it comes to American Democracy, and do what has to be done to compete with the Democratic Party, namely, pour a bunch of money into creating a counter Chicago-Style Massive Voter Fraud Machine, they might well toss the Dems out on their asses.

Short of Creating a competitive Voter Fraud Machine, they don't stand a snow ball's chance in hell of holding the few offices they already have.

This is the new reality of American Politics; after Obama, Chicago Style Corruption is King.

Obama was not ''handed'' anything, he wanted the job....and having his minions blaming Bush every opportunity they had IS HIM blaming Bush. Or do you think he was not aware of that?

The idiot morris is, again, basing his prediction on history. Which is strange for idiot conservatives since they rewrite history all the time.
He and the rest of the right did that on the Presidential election, 'if the economy is at this stage at this point in time, then the challenger always wins'.
That didn't work so well for 'dick' and now he is doing it again.
Conservatives are idiots, they just can't learn.

Again, isn't the "king" stuff going to look a little silly when he voluntarily leaves office in January 2017....something I don't recall too many "kings" doing (unless they wanted to marry an American divorcee. :) )

Not quite true on all counts.
He did blame bush the failure, for good reason. bush the failure and the GOP ARE to blame for the mess, pure and simple.
President Obama did not spend as much as bush the failure, a great deal of the spending the right wing media credits (blames) Obama with is is in fact spending approved by bush the failure and/or debt accrued by bush the failure but never put 'on the books' to keep the moron base fat dumb and happy.
Fact of the matter is spending is falling and has been the last 2 years.

He was wrong, so were most of the national pollsters. A lot of people just stayed home because they did not like either candidate. the election of 2012 proves nothing except that a corrupt media can control the outcome of an election. Is that really the way you want our elections decided?

If Progressive Democrats keep pushing gun control, 2014 will be a very good year for Republicans.

The gun restrictions proposed have a very high approval rating.
Once again the right is on the wrong side of the issues.

so being on the side of the constitution is the wrong side? Really?

kids killed by abortions 300,000, kids killed by assault rifles less than 50. now which activity puts more kids in danger?
