Except for poor people already on every kind of welfare imaginable, Obamacare is turning out to be as popular >>>MOD EDIT: INSULT<<< Obama has already had to give American businesses an extra year to prepare for this monumental taxpayer screwing, and he's also had to give one bunch of >>>MOD EDIT: INSULT<<<after another waivers and exemptions from any involvement with it. Labor unions are rebelling against it, younger workers are going to be hosed royally because of it, and under the best of circumstances the whole system is confused, conflicted, and unwieldy.

So, what do the Republicans in the House want to do? They want to let Comrade Obama OFF THE HOOK by passing the budget and avoiding a government shutdown, and, delaying the mandatory start of Obamacare for individual citizens for one year (hopefully so that they can fix most of the enormous problems associated with it). http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052702304526204579103192640919478.html

What's President Wonderful's reaction to this? Oh, HELL no! It's Obama's way, or the highway! So, Obama goes and sets his own house on fire, and Republicans offer to rescue him from the danger and the shutdown, even knowing that the media will blame them for everything, and he's STILL too stupid and stubborn even to get his own precious ass out of harm's way.

Everything this man does, whether it's throwing around international "Red Line" threats recklessly, or stitching together a half-assed, unworkable socialized medicine scheme, ends up being an unprofessional, inconsistent, undesirable pile of ****! And we're stuck with another 3 1/2 years of this inept, shallow empty suit! Now, as it was on day-one, this poor man has absolutely no idea what he's doing.... :spin:

If the Repubs had any sense they'd just let Messiahcare go ahead and crash into the trainwreck that even the Demos have called it. Why compromise with a man who thinks he is too good to see anyone's viewpoint but his? Let the American people get a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing gut full of Obama's socialist medicine program and they will puke it back up, all over Obama and the stupid bastards who stuck us with this POS to begin with.

Those who oppose Obama should Let ObamaCare fail utterly.

The failure will be painful, but anywhere near as painful as letting the Left replace Obama with another Left Wing Radical in 2016.

To hold back Obama Care for a year or two (past midterm elections) would be a wonderful favor to Obama and it would also be an admission that it's amateur hour at the White House and the brilliant people running the country really can't get it together.
I don't think Obama's super nova-like hubris will let him admit failure.

A one year deal is stupid. De-fund it or let it go forward and anger just about everyone.

I searched the internet but couldn't find any indication that His Royal ****ing Highness intends to inflict this socialized medicine scheme on Himself, his Queen, or his Royal Family. No, no. That's only for the peasants, and those who weren't able to cash in the necessary political favors to get exemptions and "waivers"....

This is not surprising, however. As illustrated by George Orwell in his classic book on totalitarian Socialism, "Animal Farm", we've already learned that "all animals are equal... but some are more equal than others."

Don't understand anyone putting up with this. You would think even liberal progressives would see a problem with this. If it's good enough for the people it's good enough for EVERYONE in Washington DC including Obama.

Because healthcare involves life or death. Allowing the experiment to fail, so it can be rubbed in their faces, is a grotesque position. They must do everything they can to stop it/stall it from implementation.

Even more so, if Obamacare was as "awful" as the GOP claims, why are they deliberately sabotaging it by not following the law, and running propaganda campaigns to encourage young people to be utterly irresponsible and NOT buy health insurance?

You would think such a "bad program" wouldn't need this huge army of paid agitators out there handing out lies to scuttle it.

Despite the beliefs of the conservatives and neoconservatives, history from the 20th and 21st centuries proves the Republicans have never offered any policies that benefit the 300 million + Americans who are not members of the financially elite class.

The right-wingers accept the fairy tale that tells “when the job creators are ranking in the cash everyone prospers.” It hasn’t worked since King Ronny sold the country Reaganomics, and it’s been proven that it never can. The fact that more and more Americans are coming to realize they were sold snake oil by Reagan and the Republicans, makes defeating the Affordable Care Act a greater urgency for the GOP as implementation gets closer.

You are letting a political bias keep you from seeing the facts
The republicans do not want oBamaCare implemented because people would find out that the republicans have been lying to them
If this is not the case the republicans would allow it to be implemented and then they would have no trouble repealing it
But they want to repeal it in advance or delay it until after the election
because it is not as bad as they say
OBamaCare or should I called it Romney care Has been in Massachusetts For six years
And a majority of the people and Massachusetts love it
remember the republicans oppose Medicare and Social Security
Yet the government borrowed Two and one half trillion dollars from the Social Security fund

Once again, the Obama-haters are utterly clueless about a program the claim to "hate".

EVERYONE IS on Obamacare! Everybody who actually has health insurance. And there will be more who have the option of having insurance next year than this year for the first time in 7 years,

Why the rest of the industrialized world thinks the USA are idiots.

But I guess our failure of a healthcare system gives us some interesting TV shows. I guess that is why the Obama-haters fight for the past failures so strongly - we have more dramas.

Here's the real reason they want to defund it.

None of them are "exempted". This pernicious lie from some delays given to companies and unions in the early days of implementation in 2010 seems to never go away. Those implementation delays are GONE! But Obmahaters list the "exemptions" anyway as if they still exist.

Obmacare consists of a set of MINIMUM standards of coverage in a health insurance policy that ALL policies have to meet to be considered "health insurance". The stupid excuse for policies that companies charged workers for that excluded hospitalization, drugs, had absurdly low limits of payouts, excluded THOUSANDS of conditions are no longer considered "health insurance" because they are ripoff jokes that leave people bankrupt, dying and eventually on taxpayer subsistence anyway.

The policy you get through work, the policy you buy direct at an insurance agent's office, the catastrophic high deductible policy you buy, (which you are still welcome to do if you are one of the fortunate ones without pre-existing conditions). ALL are part of Obamacare by being good enough insurance to actually be of use.

The utter cluelessness the propaganda spreaders operate under has them mistaking the Obamacare Exchanges as the central part of Obamacare.

The Obamacare EXCHANGES are the special places where people with pre-existing conditions, and people who are low enough income to qualify for subsidy to lower their premiums and out of pocket costs, can go to get insurance rather than doing without, as is what happens to those unfortunate throw-away folks now.

Everyone is getting the SAME Obamacare as everyone else! Don't let the Obama-haters lie to you, folks!

After you repeal Obamacare, do the democrats get to repeal this one? If the republicans had been serious about healthcare, they would have had something years ago. Your too late. Because you never were interested. Tending to the poor and the sick, is not an agenda that interests the right. It never has been.

Uh, HSAs, the endorsed method of Whole Foods? The Dozen and a half bills to repeal the McCarran-Ferguson Act (one still pending) that prevents people from buying insurance across state lines, maintaining the monopolies and oligopolies in a plurality of states?

These have been going on, for years. The first bill I list is from 2005, but its an even older idea than that. Democrats and RINO Republicans didn't endorse them, because it would mean Gov't would have less of a role and wouldn't raise taxes (on the middle class, unlike a certain piece of legislation we're living with.).
