It is impossible to predict when the forces and processes of history will produce an era of civic virtue. Neither Themistocles nor Cicero could have predicted the European Enlightenment that gave birth to the founding of America. The only thing that can be predicted with certainty is that the ideals of individual liberty and equality before the law, among others, will not arise in any civilization other than Western Civilization.
The older I get, the more I conclude (sadly) that the Enlightenment concepts of individual liberty, and free expression were historical aberrations, rather than a natural progression of human civilization. So I doubt they'll rise again white people or no white people.

Race is an arbitrary social science category, there is only one species of man. If you're worried about preserving certain cultural practices, don't be. Like languages, cultures have a life of their own and you've got as much chance of preserving one as you do of enforcing proper English during recess. Culture is a consequence not a choice.
