Because Obama failed to arm the opposition years ago with the weapons they needed to fight the Syrian government, they have turned to ISIS as their best chance to get rid of the Syrian leader. Now Obama has given up hope of ever training them, as they run away as fast as they are trained.

So once again, where are all of these big accomplishments Obama is suppose to have done? I haven't seen any. He has made more of a mess of things than anything.

The most important fact about the Middle East: there are no good guys. ISIS are not good guys. Assad is not a good guy. The "Syrian opposition" are not good guys.

I recently posted a link from Wikipedia on another thread, which was promptly dismissed as lies by conservatives, but in 17 days and 100 responses, nobody has challenged the veracity of this extremely inflammatory FACEBOOK link.

THIS STORY WAS COMPLETELY FABRICATED!!! Joe Biden and John McCain were on Meet the Press on that date. These lies reflect desperation and are destroying your credibility even among conservatives. In 7 years you have not been able to dig up any dirt on Obama, but you want everyone to hate him as much as you do.

The most compelling reason to attack the ACA is, IT HAS NOT PROVIDED THE TRULY NEEDY WITH A HEALTH CARE PLAN which would still bankrupt people. Until we get a single payer health care system WITHOUT CO PAYS OR DEDUCTIBLES we have failed the people in the US.

Obama has done some really good things, ACA and draconian anti gun actions not being part of that.

You liberals have failed the American people so often and in so many different ways, what's one more?

There's been no recovery and I have no idea what "presiding" over on is supposed to mean. Yeah he sits in the Oval Office watching big $800B economic plan totally fail and then does nothing else for 6 years, what's the big thing about "presiding"? We had a VERY solid recovery after the 2000/2001 slowdown/recession, Dot.Com bubble bursting, 9/11 when Bush was "presiding". 52 months of full employment with at least average labor participation rates, rising median incomes, soaring tax revenues and deficits falling to a paltry $161B. Obama and the Democrats never came close.

That's what we elect presidents to do you know, get us out economic holes that cyclically occur. Obama ran on the promise we would and knew what to do. Of course he and his fellow Democrats had had majority control of the government since 2007, before the economic downturn and before the financials failed. Bush took the economic downturn he inherited and mitigate the effects and helped turn the economy around and into a VERY strong recovery. He succeeded, Obama failed.

Cons don't emotionalize the issues like liberals do, we simply know the logic of our programs proves itself out routinely while the liberals policies fail as they have the last 8 years.

This was post 104 in which I called out Dennis Tate for posting this thread on a premise based on a fabricated Facebook post allegedly quoting Obama. But it gets worse:

    Is EVERYBODY okay with this?

The nation of Israel is relatively as close to being a "good guy" as any Middle Eastern nation could be, due to the fact that Israel genuinely allows freedom of religion and supports basic democratic freedoms.

If....... we can agree that Israel is a relative "good guy" and that President Yassar Arafat taught his team some pretty awful values.......(such as stashing away huge sums of money that really should have gone into feeding Palestinian people and providing them with the basics such as an objective education, medical care and housing) ....... then........ this puts at least something of a "good guy vs bad guy" spin on the conflict between President Obama and the world leaders who agreed with him........ vs..... P. M. Stephen Harper at the G-8 back in 2011.

Without CONFLICT a film is boring.......... world events create an excuse for film footage in the form of "news" that keeps many TV stations and news magazines and blogs in business and able to hire people........... so........ by making what I personally feel was an error back in 2011......… President Obama did a great job of playing something of a "bad guy".....(at least in terms of being naïve and supporting the wrong side)............… which has considerable "ARTISTIC VALUE"...… that did create a number of jobs.........… and could even set in motion a series of events that may perhaps soon create many more?!

    http://www.politicalforum.com/relig...s-p-m-brokering-jordan-israel-peace-deal.html

Please pray or meditate on Canada's P. M. brokering Jordan - Israel peace deal?

I know that many of you pray or meditate so please

pray that P. M. Stephen Harper initiate a peace deal between Jordan and Israel?

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am a member of a different Canadian political party but……… I have to admit that P. M. Stephen Harper is for good reason regarded as a rather "Davidic" figure by a high percentage of Israelis.

What he did for Israel back in 2011 at the G-8 was one of the most courageous and wise acts by a political leader that I have seen since I began to watch world events back in the '70's!

As at least something of a "bad guy" President Obama was INTERESTING! The news worthiness of some of his actions and pronouncements...… create a conflict that could fuel a whole new movement toward peace in the Middle East..............

He's killed a few terrorists. He was involved in the elimination of Bin Laden, though how much of that is attributable to him I don't know.

I think his heart was maybe in the right place pushing the ACA. I think he is a responsible husband and father like most every other president except Slick Willie. Of course, keeping your pants zipped shouldn't be some great badge of honor. It's what you're supposed to do.

But race relations are worse, police officers do not get the respect they deserve, especially from African Americans, and ISIS has run wild in Iraq and Syria. We should have done more against them as soon as they started murdering Americans. On balance, I'll be glad to see him go.

Frankly.... although I feel an obligation to at the least attempt to apply the principles elaborated on in The Secret...… I do strongly tend to agree with this basic sentiment!

Again.... a possible positive side to this is that President Obama is doing a good job..... of playing the role of a relatively "bad President!"

    http://www.thesecret.tv/about/our-mission/

President Obama...… according to a fifteen year old Israeli near death experiencer.... might just do an Academy Award winning job of playing out the role of the......"anti-Messiah" of the Gog prophecy of Ezekiel 39!!!!!!!?

If...… one of the ultimate "bad guys" of our time period..... obviously has good intentions and means well........... then that could turn into good news for the whole world????!!!!

I am sorry that I quoted an article that apparently was made up........ I should have known better..... I am sorry!

If..... that same article had been written about any other American President......… I would have known it was false but President Obama gives off a vibe of being so far left that he might just make statements like those attributed to him in that writing!

Somebody else also caught that error back in post #72.......

2009 to 2015 less than 2% mean GDP growth.

    1981 to 1987 4% mean GDP growth.

One economic plan worked, one plan failed.....which one worked? John Wayne once said "Life is hard, but it's harder when you're stupid" that's Obama's problem, he's stupid so life is hard for all of us. The time to push Obama Care was when it was Hillary Care and the economy was is full tilt with the internet and computerization of America. Not burden the economy and the taxpayers when we're trying to climb out of a recession. 2009 to 2015 with less than 2% mean GDP growth, it just proves Obama wouldn't know the economy from his own backside if he could see them both at the same time.

It would have been a lot better if he actually had rightwingers who would be willing to work to make it better instead of being un-American jackass losers for almost 8 years. People like you in Congress should be ashamed of themselves and be forced to give up their citizenship immediately.

What are you talking about the Republicans have been completely open to working with the otherside and the only side that actually passed their bills only to see the Democrats in the Senate and the President refuse to even consider them. They just negotiated a budget with Obama, the Democrats NEVER even passed a budget to consider.

What positive things can you say about President Obama?

The first thing that comes to mind is that now when our president visits a foreign country... he can speak better English than they do!

Well America has certainly demonstrated the value it places on innocent life by it's embargo n medicines in Iraq and it's series of recent wars. But I am not sure where you get the self reliance and free market values.
