Somebody forgot to give these Muslims the memo that they're supposed to be:

Maniacal, Suicidal, Mad-Dog Killing, Head Chopping, Raping, Insestual, Terrorist's hell bent on killing every Kafr on the planet.............because their Quran instructs them to do so.

What are we ever to do with all of these Muslims that won't conform to the insanely ignorant idea that all Muslims follow the Qurans most violent versus to the letter of the law?

These guys opted to march in a LBGTQI parade to show support for Gay Pride.

I wonder how many more Muslims actually live & behave the same way all other non-Muslims do, probably close to 98% of them?:roll::roll:

Muslims At Mardi Gras: Sending A Message Of Acceptance

A group of LGBTQI Muslims walked in this year’s Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras to bring awareness to homophobia within their community.

The float, which was funded by grants from the Mardi Gras and Lesbians Incorporated, involved 25 people holding a banner which said “Muslims Against Homophobia.”

The organisation behind the float is Muslims Against Homophobia Australia and was founded in 2011 as a safe space for LGBTQI Muslims.

Alice Aslan, the founder of the organisation, said that the majority of the response to MAHA’s attendance at the Mardi Gras was positive.

“We have received messages through our Facebook page and people are really happy to see us and a lot of people cheered us at the parade and I think the gay community as well has been very supportive,” she told the Huffington Post Australia.

There are no gays in Iran
    Iraq (ISIS) executes them
Saudia Arabia - 100 lashes for first offense, so you can be gay ONCE
Egypt officials publicly said once its a Zionist sickness sent to destory Egypt

But yea lets not judge by the masses....

Your obsession with the idea that every Muslim is a terrorist is pathtic and you should be ashamed of yourself. Less then 10% of the Muslim population are part of the radical extremist groups. That said 10% of 1.7 billion is 170 million people.

Islam is a religion, and like any other religion there are adherents who interpret their faith in terms of the world they live in, their experience of life, etc.

gilos quite rightly points out that in some Muslim societies there are extreme views on homosexuality, however he seems to think this is a muslim thing. He coud also refer to some of the christian african countries who in recent years have begun to persecute gays.

and since you are mentioning Australia, last week a Labor party senator resigned as he is opposed to his party's stance on gay marriage ... several decades ago he may have been resigning in prtest over moves to decriminalize homosexuality.

Im not labeling just say what I see, if they had a big community of Muslims over there they wouldnt dare come out in the open, many Israeli arabs that live in cenral Israel away from the village area - are gays because they cant be gays in thier village, and its like that all around Arab world, Arabs wrote the Quran so you decide what preceded what.

Quran 7:80-84 – "...For ye practice your lusts on men in preference to women: ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds.... And we rained down on them a shower (of brimstone)"

Leviticus 20:13 (ASV) And if a man lie with mankind, as with womankind, both of them have committed abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Why do you people keep assuming that anyone who criticizes Islam is Christian?

Can you chill out on the Muslim propaganda?

Most Americans don't like them. :)

Do Christians and Jews have any scriptures that say they should kill anyone that doesn't accept their religion?

    I didn't think so.

I have criticized Christianity and Judaism on numerous occasions.

Deuteronomy 13:12-15 – "If you hear it said about one of the towns the Lord your God is giving you to live in that troublemakers have arisen among you and have led the people of their town astray, saying, 'Let us go and worship other gods' (gods you have not known), then you must inquire, probe and investigate it thoroughly. And if it is true and it has been proved that this detestable thing has been done among you, you must certainly put to the sword all who live in that town. You must destroy it completely, both its people and its livestock."

Matthew 10:14-15 – "And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city."

This doesn't fit the bias right wing knuckle draggers have that every muslim is waiting to strap a bomb to their chests. The right always needs a boogie man to blame all of their failures in life on.

Nope. Only rules for slavery and stoning women. It's a great read. Try the bronze age superstitions section at your local book store.

This is a good thing. For them to stand up and speak out against the intolerance of the Muslim faith takes guts. According to the Quran, they are to be put to death. No group is more racist, sexist, and intolerant of non-believers than Muslims.

Christians are against homosexuality as well, but they are not throwing them off buildings. The worst thing they may do is refuse to sell them a wedding cake!

Do you know that story that the Jew God massacred the totally innocent Egyptian babies so the Jews were able to march to the land of Canaan? When they arrived them Jews committed genocide. Rather iffy religious texts... putting it mildly.

Sydney has the largest Muslim community in Australia therefore the largest gay Muslim community making their float very relevant. I watched the Mardi Gras on TV and their participants are from different parts of the world.

You also fail to realise that Islam in Australia is not centralised because of the different ethnicities of the Muslim communities. Lebanese make up the core Muslims in Sydney while Turks and Bosniaks make up the majority of Muslims in Melbourne. Three entirely different ethnicities. Throw in Indonesians, Malaysians, Pakistanis, Africans and Middle Easterners we have ethnicities that the only common denominator being Islam but their ethnic background is vastly different. For example Lebanese will settle in parts of Sydney not because they are Muslim but because they are Lebanese. There are also quite a few Catholic Lebanese within these suburbs.

Lebanese will mix this Lebanese, Indonesians will mix with Indonesians, Pakistanis will mix with Pakistanis, Turks will mix with Turks etc not because they are Muslim but because they share a cultural heritage like language and customs. This process was extremely evident after WWII with the influx of Christian European migration to Australia also.

To add, it's definitely not Islam who's opposing homosexuality etc in Australia but the Christian right, namely The Australian Christian Lobby who just want to sweep LBGTI under the carpet as if it doesn't exist.

This is actually about Muslims against homophobia in a Christian country.
So citing homophobic Christian texts makes more sense.
