The only benefit is for foreign investment, however, that is mitigated by the fact that foreign investors will no longer have free access to the European market via English manufacturing plants as they will now have to go through two separate sets of regulations and inspections so they might as well just go where the labor is exponentially cheaper; such as, China or India.

If the pound is low against the dollar, that means it will be cheaper to get exports from the UK, which will boost manufacturing, and jobs. Tourism will get better, since it won't be so expensive to visit.

No the RF is cronyism at its worst.

Once again why invest in UK manufacturing if they aren't getting the benefit of easy access to the EU market? They're just going to invest in China where labor is exponentially cheaper.

Russian financing of neo-fascist parties throughout the EU is not a magic power it's a cold hard fact. The National Front readily admits that it's in Moscows' pocket.

This is such a dumb assertion. You actually think people won't do business with UK, because they're no longer apart of the EU? There's 64 million potential customers in the UK. The U.K. Still makes goods, that people want.

I didn't say they won't sell their goods in the UK but why would they manufacture them there? The benefit was that they only had to go through one uniform set of regulations to go through in order to have access to the European market now there will be two separate regulatory systems so why not just manufacture where labor is much much cheaper?

We were the first to stand up to German Nazis in 1930's and once again we are the first ones to stand up to German dominated Europe. Many European countries have simply been turned into new German colonies (Slovenia, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Slovakia etc...)...EU is shaped around Germany. It is meant to benefit Germany first. Perhaps the Germans could force the rest of the EU to accept Turkey instead of the UK. Pun intended.

Oh please Germany only has 13 more seats in the EU Parliament than the UK despite having 16 million more people. The apportionment system is specifically set up in order to insure that certain countries don't get an unfair advantage in decision making.

This could be one of the greatest revolutions in European history and all without a shot being fired. It's wonderful to see these people finally getting a say in how they are governed and with greater home rule. Perhaps many of these countries can, over some time, re-assume the own distinctive cultures that the EU pretended was never there.

Like global warming, 'Frankenfood", and any number of scares foisted upon an easily frightened public, 'overpopulation' was one of the scare tactics in the latter half of the last century that decreased the birth rate dramatically in first world countries. Now that huge shift is being realized in much of Europe with the influx of foreigners with third world cultures overwhelming indigenous populations and them not knowing quite what struck them, their laws or their cultures.

But a majority of the voters did see through the canard that the only thing that could save them was a corrupt bureaucracy in Brussels and the lie that they should relinquish their autonomy to them. If Scotland, or anyone else, leaves the UK that is probably a very good thing because their destiny will then be in their own hands. The same with any other group of citizens who feel they can better manage themselves. Trade agreements and alliances can still be maintained but a weak bureaucracy in Brussels was a very, very bad idea from its very inception.

That it took this long for the UK to shake itself free from this paper laden monster is a great example of how any unanswerable bureaucracy can worm its way into
    power over the ordinary people.

This will not decrease the amount of red tape for UK based manufacturers it's going to double that is if they want access to the European market. And this unanswerable bureaucracy as you call it is answerable to the people which elect it through direct universal suffrage.

Yes, the 17th Amendment, in hindsight, was a mistake. That was the beginning of the end for State Rights.

    - - - Updated - - -

The Swiss and Norwegians have done okay and if their is too much 'red tape' then other alternatives will be found. Who elected the President of the EU?

What does national front have to do with Brexit? Either way, is it not democracy, what are UK/American non government organisations doing in other countries? Is that not the same?
There is German Nazi groups in Germany that has ties to Swedish nazi ones, does that also affect Swedish politics?

The President of the European Commission is elected by the European Parliament which is directly elected by the people through direct universal suffrage his nomination comes upon the recommendation of the European Council which is composed of the heads of state/government from each of the member states.

I have to dissapoint you. I have never visited or been a member of "debate politics" website. If someone else is using the same name & avater, which I doubt. Then that is a coincidence.

If you could provide a link to a post by this so called other "lunecat" with a "Winston Churchill" avatar I can have a look for myself. If you can't then I have to think you may be mistaken for some reason.

    Good day to you

Eurosceptic far right parties were driving forces behind Brexit. Why do you think the UKIP doesn't want to disclose their sources of funding? It's because they're in Moscows pocket!

    - - - Updated - - -

Yes just a coincidence that someone with the exact same name and the exact same avatar made that post there. I was born at night but not last night. I already posted the link here it is again:

As I said before, provide a link to a post for this other "lunecat" with a "Winston Churchill" avatar & posting the same as I did. If you can't I suspect you are mistaken. If you won't ... then I can only assume you are something else, which is less than honest.

My point is that you're watching BNF propaganda videos but claim not to be affiliated with them. This coupled with the fact that you're an overt holocaust denier leads anyone with half a brain to think otherwise.

That the EU would be bitter and angry because a nation wants to leave says more about the EU, and it's political pettiness, than you might have intended.

Oh well I can refute that. In that post it was said "I watched the Question time ". Question time is a weekly BBC political discussion programthat has members of all parties & other as a panel that answers questions from the general public audience.

So if you are trying to say that watching BBC Question time is in some way the same as watching BNP propaganda videos, you simply don't understand what BBC Question time is all about.

Please do address your concerns to the BBC about Question Time & your thoughts that it is a mouth peice for fascist parties.

I suspect they will either laugh at you, or politely not even reply to such a pathetic charge.

    Try again!

EDIT : Also I will say that "lunecat" wasn't very complimentary about Nick Griffin the BNP leader in that post. So again you are on very shakey ground with your claim that I watch BNP propoganda
