That's a pretty good question. But, I think we'll be seeing a Scottish independence referendum coming up pretty soon.

    Good luck to you all!

It's amazing that you barley cant find any positive article about Britain leaving the EU, it's like the world did not exist before the EU.

No Scottish referendum anytime soon. Leaders over the Independence movement supported the Remain campaign because they want to be in the EU when Scotland gains independence.

Let's make sure it's the markets and bankers that do the most suffering.

Every argument against a Brexit has been a joke.

One of the main arguments they use is a trade-based argument, as if belonging to the EU is why countries trade with the UK.

Either they don't know anything about economics or they are are lying because trade is based on mutually beneficial exchange, not bureaucratic facilitation.

The idea that UK trade will suffer as a result of this is compete nonsense.

The British pound is down about 8% relative to the USD.

    Hardly a "collapse".

And in any case, you're judging a long-term policy decision based on short-term fluctuations in a historically volatile metric.

In other words, you got nothing.

    A good point.

Even though I reject most of the economic arguments against a Brexit, not every decision in life boils down to money.

Clinton has to be in a panic mode. The vote result was an 8% shift from polling towards UK nationalism. Obama and Clinton both on record opposing Brexit as do most American and UK liberals. American and UK supported Brexit. Polls insisted Brexit would be defeated. The final result was off by 8%.

That is exactly the lead Clinton has in pool averages over Trump. It appears conservative nationalists are more reliable voters than liberal internationalists.

How can you judge the success of a policy based on a few hours of market fluctuations?
