If I know the slump of the mix, I can tell you if the concrete will work or not.

To those who do not know, when we pour commercial concrete, we track many things. We will fill a cone shaped container with concrete and put it under hydraulic pressure when it cures.

We will remove the cone from the sample and see how much it slumps. For instance a sidewalk takes maybe a 4 inch slump. A good pour for a dam can take a lesser slump. A lousy pour slumps half a foot.

I actually agree with Ronstar on this one. If we were going to go this route--total segregation--they would need 12% of the land (I think this would be fair). Technically, I don't think we can go back to this, but what we need to do is assimilate the hell out of the blacks and Hispanics and then hold the line on any further immigration. We have to get them to get their acts together and then bring them into the fold, but not as cowering, guilt-ridden vaginas. The first step is cutting out the corruption so that the system is seen as fair and trustworthy.

The main key to concrete is reinforcing concrete.

Poor concrete has no steel.

And if you use proper steel in sufficient quantity, the pour vastly improves.

The dam appears to be well reinforced.

My caveat is I am no dam designer nor engineer.

But my experience for about 9 years was using reinforced concrete and the projects I worked on included the Oakland Alameda County sports complex. We drove piles that were for the heavy structures steel tubes we filled with steel and concrete. They still stand as we built them. And this survived the Loma Prietta earth quake very well.

I was speaking only of good vs poor concrete pours.

But a project like a dam has plenty of steel in it.

The population of Indians hasn't reached critical mass yet. Once it does you will get corruption, a high murder rate, rapes, female infanticides, illegal arms trading, drugs, domestic violence, cyber crime, and probably a whole bunch of people with incurable TB--very high TB rate in India, and an Indian-style caste system in the US.

The only non-western immigrant group I'm partial toward is the East Asian population, though only as a small minority. That said, I don't want any large-scale immigration.

Even so, clearly racism didn't impede their success, nor did they need white privilege to get their success.
