One thing I really miss is the way Africans say Africa

in english its pronounced almost with an "E" like Efrica

I truly miss hearing ....Aah-fri-caaah... or even the French Afrique

Not in British English! The British A is quite similar to the French.

Lol. Well...At the moment I am "semi-unemployed" and on some kind of "quasi-summer break"- Took my BA last month and am now looking to start my career, but I have also applied for some MA-degrees but won't get any answers 'til next week...Even if I get approved, I'm not sure if I'll go with it. I want to work.. I think... Heck. I am not even sure if I've chosen the right path or if I've wasted three years of my life. Having a minor existential crisis here. :eyepopping: :eyepopping: :eyepopping:

Lol. Anyways, the short answer is I don't do much at all. Waaaaay too much spare time.

Diese = this (deine = your) & germanisch = Germanic :) but you got the message! It's so fun speaking such related languages.

Nah. It is not my real name....And I believe the last part was "what you up to today?" or something. :p

I really love how Dtuch/Flem/Afrikaans is so similar to Swedish in written language, but so entirely different when spoken. Lol. Met a lot of Dutch/Belgian exchange-students who've told they can read the Swedish newspaper and, more or less, understand all that is being said. :)

Sorry. My Serbo-Croatian/Bosnian is highly limited. Only know like 8 words and tried constructing something understandable from this. Probably wasn't good enough.

    Man don't say that.

You know things have a way of working out.

The day I started this Topic I can honestly say I was really down....lower than I have been in a LONG time.

Everything was falling apart and it seemed like even someone as tough as me had cheated fate one time too many and the whole Universe was HELL BENT on making me suffer.

Then....what I can only call a Miracle happened.

I don't know what I did to deserve being saved but I was.

And if there is one thing I have learned in all my experiences is when a Miracle comes and finds YOU.....you don't make the mistake of ignoring it.

So hand in there.....you will have your Miracle as well.

    :)

Well....it's the way our minds work and I have kind of developed a system for finding things.

Now I have an excellent memory however sometimes when I am multitasking as I will be on the phone making a decision talking to my people and at the same time cooking dinner and also online and then my Gardner Fernando comes into my kitchen and hands me the keys to the shed and I will be holding the key and doing ll these other things and the next day Fernando ask's me for the key to the shed and it is NOT hanging up on the key holder!!

SO....in the past I would attempt to retrace my steps and my mistake has been retracing them from the beginning of cooking and talking and posting to the end when I actually was able to sit down and eat.

So now I start at the END.....when I was putting away the dishes in the dishwasher and then back to eating and then back to getting some A-1 Steak Sauce out of the cabinet and right before that Fermando gave me the key and........WAIT!!

    THE CABINET!!

I was holding the key in one hand and my other hand had the phone in it so I had to grab the A-1 when I was still holding the key!!

So I look in the cabinet where I keep the A-1 and SURE AS S#!#!!

    There is the key!!

    Right next to the A-1.

    Just a trick I learned.

    - Did you ever steal a traffic cone, a road sign or anything similar when tripping on booze? What happened? Also, do you still keep them at home as some kind of a trophy?
    - I believe earlier yu said you've been to Sweden(?), when and where did you go?

I spent some time in Goteborg and I was in Lulea which is a city next to the Gulf of Bothnia but I spent much more time in Finland.....for OBVIOUS reasons.

It wasn't a pleasure visit as I was doing my JOB.

No....I have NEVER had any inclination to steal a traffic cone or road sign or anything like that never mind for GOD knows what possible reason keep it as a Trophy???? LOL!!

I find the Swedish people to be nice in the extreme and very hospitable but I SWEAR.....if anyone from any of the Scandinavian Nations...ie....Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark or Iceland.....EVER AGAIN....tries to stick a toothpick with their Aged and Marinated Decayed and Necrotic SHARK DELICACY skewered upon it into my face and say....."IT'S GOOD!! EAT IT!!"........well folks....it is not only NOT GOOD.....it is also quite possibly the most inedible claimed...."FOOD"....on Planet Earth.....and anyone who EVER does that to be again is going to end up with that toothpick full of shark jammed up their dick hole!!!

YOU TOO LADIES AS IT CAN BE DONE!!!

Now....for those members who have never tried this aged Shark Recipe.....and consider yourselves VERY LUCKY you have never had to try it......I will try to describe what it tastes like.

IMAGINE......two Hobo's who have not bathed in 10 years both having extremely bad athletes foot F@#KING in a dirty old shoe owned by a 102 year old incontinent women who loved cats and used to keep THAT SHOE in one of the cat little boxes that she had never changed as she was senile and as well she would use an ENTIRE CAN OF AQUANET to spray her silver hair so it would not be able to move!!!!

THAT description will allow a member to understand just about 10% of the total vileness of what that Shark Delicacy both smells and tastes like that the Scandinavian people LOVE to eat and LOVE to get other people to eat.
