You do not appear to lead a boring life. Why do you post here?

Why does everyone hate Hllary so?. Surely anyone can see that she could not even begin to actually be as corrupt as they make her out without being caught by the Republicans who have watched every small detail of every part of her life like obsessed hawks for going on 30 years now. Indeed, even if she were the sort of Super-Villainous Machiavellian Mastermind she is now depicted as, wouldn't that itself make her about the most excellent President we could have?

Who was the best President in your lifetime?. Why?

I am retired and I post after I enjoy my day.

Plus I have some VERY good friends here.

I am no Trump Supporter but then again if you knew what I know about Hillary....you would be scared too. LOL!!

I have no problem with having a woman President...I just don't like her....but I don't like Trump either!

Who was the best President in your lifetime?. Why?.......Reagan.....He turned things around as even though I believe Jimmy Carter to be a good and decent man.....I NEVER want to go back to those years.

I'd rather be scared of my President than scared for

Reagan and Carter are the paradoxes that make politics interesting. Both were decent men in over their heads. Carter's basic goodness as a man destroyed him as an effective President despite his intelligence. Reagan's rock bottom decency as a human being made him one of the better Chief Executives even though he often didn't know what was going on

Where and what food was the best you've ever eaten?

ps. Mine was on the Australian East Coast, Mooloolaba, restaurant on the esplanade and they made this cherry glazed duck on a bed of sweet potato and spinach. The chef btw was from Melbourne.

You have just been out on a date with this sweet, above alpha female on a lovely, lovely date and it is a lovely, lovely night. Crickets are playing their sweet silver song and the owls make sure to keep up the beat. You've just followed her home and you look at her smiling, before asking; "so are we going inside?" She looks back at you and shrugs her head; "we can't, grandma is sleeping." How do you react? What is the most alpha solution to this tragedy?

    question:

Why do right wingers have such low self esteem, are filled with hate, and apply double standards on just about every political issue?

Well this has to be broken down into 2 answers as I am basically a Chef so I have made some outstanding dinners and as well I have also been to many outstanding restaurants.

One of the best dishes I have ever made...and I will not include all the seafood dishes I have made as there are so many and because I am a SCUBA Diver and I have a Lobster License and I spear fish there are just so many times I have had Lobster and Scallops wrapped in bacon with steamed clams and sweet butter/sugar corn with mussels and I absolutely LOVE oysters.

Well....I like to make this one particular dinner that starts with me par-steaming some asparagus that I cut in half and make them half as short and I butter and salt and pepper them then I wrap them in a slice of provolone cheese them I wrap that in a very thin slice of prosciutto and then I take some Vienna Bread dough and make a long dough snake like a length of rope made out of dough about 16 to 18 inches long and about pinky finger thick and then I wrap this snake around the wrapped asparagus and I place it in a Teflon cookie baking pan in a 400 degree F oven for about 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.

I make enough for myself and the woman I love and then I brush melted butter over then and serve.

I do LOVE Duck and as I hunt I have cooked many a Duck and I like to smoke my Duck hanging in a smoker that I use brown sugar, star anise, granny smith apples, uncooked rice, pepper corns, ginger, cherry wood and a few other things that I use to create the smoke.

I make a very complex sauce to coat the duck which includes all sorts of Chinese spices and sauces and I smoke the duck for 6 hours and it comes out SUPER JUICY and I slice it up and have some of the sauce I made on the side.

I really enjoy grilled Fennel with this and small red grilled potatoes I add to the fennel in a kind of salad.

I enjoy making Frozen Watermelon Margaritas and I always make some small desert such as taking frozen mango and lemon Italian Ice and I shave some of each and I combine the two in a tall Champagne like flute along with some blueberries and raspberries from my garden and I top it with a small amount of whipped cream and a Mint leaf.

There are just so many meals I am so good at cooking and plating it would take a lifetime with me to enjoy them all and I love to use Truffles and Truffle oil both Black and White.

As are as my best meal......I was in Orlando at Emeril Lagasse's Restaurant and he actually was there as they were doing a TV shoot and we met and he liked me so he just kept making dish after dish after dish and I had everything from Pan Fried Foie gras to Alaskan Kind Crab Stuffed Filet Mignon and just about verything and anything you could think of as it just kept coming!! LOL!!

p.s.....What you ate sounds really good!!

Everything sounds fantastic your smoked duck made my mouth water

I also like that you don't use spice/sauce on the seafood... I love my seafood just with melted butter

    Size 12E

    Yes....TOO many times! LOL!!

I used to enjoy climbing mountains for fun when I was a kid but I have just climbed one mountain too many with my Team and I guess I just no longer have any more interest in putting my life at risk like that anymore.

    Mmmm.....Many.

Some I used o be relatively fluent in but after awhile a person sort of loses what they don't use.

Spanish, Portuguese, German. Russian, my French sucks! LOL!, Farsi, Arabic, Urdo, Pashto, Hindi....some Japanese and Chinese.....and a few others to an extent.

Smoking the Duck slow allows you to cook it relatively well enough to render the fat without losing all the moisture.

I also make the BEST smoked Baby Back Ribs, Beef Brisket and I like to Deep Fry a whole Turkey!!

Have you ever dreamed in a language other than english, I'm asking because someone once said to me once you start dreaming in another language, you know you're fully bilingual/multilingual... not sure if this is true

    LOL!!

    YEAH!!

When I was stuck in the Hot and Sandy back in 2003-2004 I would have dreams and be talking in Arabic.

I also had dreams talking in Russian back in 2000 when my Team and I provided security for U.S. Military Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Weapons Destruction Teams in Russia.

    You amaze me!!

How did you know that I do that????

I literally had a dream two nights ago where I was setting off a nuke in a bathtub - don't ask - and muttering and having an inner dialogue in Russian (well, partly Serbian-Russian gibberish because my Russian is quite elementary). What is it with Russian dreams and nukes?

Hmmmm...I grew up with three languages and can't recall I ever dreamt in anything but Swedish...But then I very rarely remember my dreams so...Hmm.

Maybe there is some truth in that, I don't know.

If you read or spoke in your first language before sleeping it might make a difference. The language of my dreams, if they have a language at all, usually corresponds to the language of the book I was reading before bed or the person to whom I was speaking before bed. Unless a certain language fits the "story" better (as with Russian/Russerbian and nukes!).

I guess if you always or almost always think in your second language, though, it'll be your "default" dreaming language. That happened with me and English.

It's Afrikaans which is a Dutch/German mix... used to have some Northern Sotho and a little Zulu but have lost most of it I'm afraid

South Africa used to be a British colony so we've always had the queens english

you probably just don't remember your dreams... btw your brain files away memories while you sleep... so dreaming is likely caused by your brain running through all the things that happened that day... which brings me to the spastic retiredness part.... What exactly do you do during the day lol

    - - - Updated - - -

Yes I believe your are right, I'm still fluent in my first language but don't use it nearly as much...if I did I would likely start dreaming in it again
