Islam religion should be banned in the U.S.

They do speak out against radicals and in most countries they are fighting them every day. A car bomb attack was Thursday in Qatif. They bombed an ice cream parlor in Baghdad last week.

 

Nobody is defending anything of the sort. You should be defending your idiotic proposal to ban Islam and telling us how you propose to stop 1.8 billion people from following their faith. Should be easy, no? After all you have a plan, do you not?

Where is Sharia law in place in any Western nation? Where it is permitted, as in Sharia tribunals in England, the ultimate arbiter in any dispute is English Law. Furthermore these tribunals perform the same function as Jewish Beth Din tribunals have been doing for centuries; to mediate in minor domestic disputes and dealing with debt management, etc.
It helps if you research this stuff and quit the strawman arguments.

 

The problem in London is nobody has guns, even the police. Took a while for SWAT to show up. Here in America, most places have the right for citizens to carry a concealed handgun. The police are armed like the military and deal with gun crime on a daily basis.

Not having guns is the reason why we aren't killing each other in the tens of thousands every year. That would be America. We want it to stay that way. Armed police shot dead the attackers within 10 minutes of the incident.

I live among many Muslims. I don't go around telling everyone I'm a registered Christian (my country has laws that require you to register your religion), but until my Muslim neighbors start telling my daughter to cover her head, ask about my mosque attendance records or if I'm fasting or just blatantly ask me what I believe, I do not think I have anything to fear.

 

I am afraid you are ignorant of history. We did intern Germans as well as some Italians. Many more Japanese were interned than Germans who often sat out the entire war in camps. Most Germans were only detained for short periods of time and only some were held in camps.

That was not the central point of my argument. It was that these are extreme times again and we need to take extreme measures. If you are so radical that you sympathize with Islamic extremists, you are part of the problem. If you don't understand the problem but are willing to educate yourself and understand that the terriorist problem is real, then your are not.

 

40% of Muslims in the Middle East support jihad. I don't know what number of individuals that equates to, but it's a lot.

 

How much remorse do you have for the 100,000s of innocent civilians in Iraq, including babies, that have been killed by American weapons?

 

Smart people know NO ONE is defending what terrorists did on 9/11. Smart people also know 1.8B are not responsible for the acts of a few.
Smart people don't go off willy nilly full of hate and blame all for the acts of some.
There is a key word being used, smart people will figure it out.
