Trump could not even remember what foot he used for his draft deferment when asked this is probably not the best person to attack for Trump supporters
Actually it was the Republican John Birch Society which called him a commie: http://www.thetreeofliberty.com/vb/...alled-President-Dwight-Eisenhower-a-Communist
Typical right winger who feels compelled to make an attack rather than try to refute the truths proven by that distinguished CONSERVATIVE professor.
At least she went to Vietnam, we can't say the same for Trump can we. He neither had the guts to go, or protest it.
Unresolved childhood trauma. Little boys who never got over being so carelessly abandoned by Fonda. How dare she not be their dream object to masturbate to. Ruined for life they are, as can be evidenced by the regular Hanoi Jane hate-fest which bubbles up in their scant noggins. They should really keep this embarrassing condition to themselves and their doctors and not project it all over the interweb.
There were 27 million men of military age during the Vietnam War era...only 2.2 million actually served "in-country." Of those 27 million men...10 million actually served in uniform either on active duty or in the reserves or the Guard. The Vietnam War was just one of the over 50 proxy wars that was fought during the Cold War. The Vietnam War was just one freaking battle that was fought during the Cold War. -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_proxy_wars
The Japanese attacked Hong Kong, Philipines, Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia simultaniously with Pearl Harbor. Japan had already invaded French Micronesia.
Even back when I was allied with the Left I was still a patriot and so I guess that in reality I never really was . . . a . . . true leftist. I mean being a patriot and a leftist is rather an oxymoron.
And since such people as Jane Fonda are too cheap -- being mere multiples of a millionaire -- to hire a governess or a separate cook the underpaid Mexican maid is required to fill all those positions and as likely as not her husband is the underpaid and overworked . . . grounds . . . keeper.
Sure she is. In the same breath. Jane says what she is proud of is the unprecedented demonstrations by the resistance. Refering to the womans march. She, along with Ashley Judd, chanted and ranted "hands off mu vagina" while shielding Weinstein from prosecution on rape and sexual assault. Jane's a peach!
I helped teach the children of one such refugee family and they were very firmly patriotic as hell where the United States of America was concerned and they had no use whatsoever for . . . the . . . Left. There is a leftist meme that most Asians are Left of Center in their politics and I am beginning to wonder how accurate that actually is. Who ran that study and what was THEIR political affiliation? Oh yes, and just HOW were the survey questions . . . worded?
Nonsense Democratic South Boston: " Chiseled on the granite monument were the names of the 25 men and the inscription, "If you forget my death, then I died in vain," but it was also a reunion for those who planned and participated in it -- the 200 Vietnam veterans of Southie, an enclave that has long given up its sons to war. The monument is the first in the country to be dedicated to the memory of Americans who died in Vietnam with official recognition from the president of the United States and all five branches of the military. Patriotism, Southie-style, placed a special, sad stamp on the neighborhood. Out of a population of 38,000, the 25 who died in Vietnam reveal a stunning statistic. "If every other community in this country had suffered the same losses, we would have experienced three times the casualties we did. Fifteen were Marines, that's a ratio of seven times that which the nation as a whole experienced for the Marine Corps," James Webb, former Marine captain and author of "Fields of Fire," told the crowd in the park. In Southie there is a street called Marine Drive; in World War II every son on that block automatically joined the Marines. Vietnam was America's greatest class war and while the upper-class enclaves around Boston were sending their sons to college and Canada, Southie's working-class sons went to war as usual." https://www.washingtonpost.com/arch...8a8-8b9f-01ef8d5e2281/?utm_term=.4d568c804d59
We actually hosted a family of 5 for 6 months. Spoke very little English. The father, mother, eldest son found work within a month and found a home within 6. They wanted to move as quickly as possible hoping we'd sponsor another family, as sponsorship was supposed to be for 1 year. Wonderful people, and worth defending.
Apparently, Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton didn't think America was great when they were campaigning. Both of them also used the "make America great again" pitch.
The surroundings are quite simple...shows much can be made of a little sunshine and fresh air...beachfront also helps... IMO if the Israelis would give up a bit of beachfront their adversaries might calm down a bit....
