Since the new rates will be applied to the W2 schedule come February those that are unhappy about it can use the extra take home pay to buy health insurance for someone else so I don’t have to.
Trump is probably looking to offset the loss in tax revenue and rise in inflation by increased growth and government expenditure savings.
Or, they could just donate it back to the government. If you oppose the tax cuts, it’s the ethical thing to do. Come to think of it, that would make a great campaign slogan for Democrats .... “Send it back! Send it back!”
How can you justify, or even hypothesize, tax cuts when we will have another $1 trillion in debt this year? Why would you encourage tax cuts when you have $20 trillion in debt to pay down? Why would you need tax cuts with unemployment supposedly at 4.5%?
