Ford should be asked by FBI if he hasn’t been subject to being hypnotized. And the FBI should look at her actual records. If so. Kavanaugh has to be the one believed period.

"Liberals!" took advantage of Brett Kavanaugh (aka "Bart O'Kavanaugh") often drinking to the point that he passed out to have George Soros fool a wasted Mark Judge into thinking he was his friend Brett Kavanaugh (aka "Bart O'Kavanaugh) and he perpetrated the sexual assault to spoil Brett Kavanaugh (aka "Bart O'Kavanaugh")'s shot at the Supremes.

... or, it was Amy Coney Barrett.

Nobody is saying the left set him up back then. What I hear people saying is that she might have been assaulted back then but she could be wrong about who she says it was that did it. I got my ass kicked back in the early 70's on Crete by a Seal Team Chief Petty Officer who was immediately transferred the next day. I think it might have been Jessie Ventura but I could be wrong, I just don't know. She is probably in the same boat with her memory as I am she is just assuming it was him because he was in the same town as she was when it occurred. I have no proof and she has no proof.

If you're a democrat or trying to avoid annoying women. If you listened to what she actually says it sounds more like a dream than a reality.

And there are a lot of people in jail whom people swore were the ones committed the crime and then the DNA evidence came in and they turned the guy loose.

Exactly the same thing you are spewing none of us have any indisputable facts and the FBI is almost certain to not add a damn thing to the equation. So all any of us have is rhetoric and belief.

What you're essentially saying is that a democrat will say she sounds honest.

And a republican will claim she sounds honest for the good optics, but then go home and on FB toe the Trump line?

What facts do you have to spew, share with us you wisdom. There will never be any proof either way, innocent until proven guilty.

For me this has nothing to do with Trump and everything to do with innocent until proven guilty.

This wasn't a criminal court and there was no criminal proceeding. This was, no doubt, a popularity contest, a political test, and finally a court of public opinion.

He can be innocent forever. Doesn't matter because this hearing was about him personally and the accusations against him, in a non-criminal hearing, with no jury and no judge.

I still think he's probably innocent. But the hearing did expose his true feelings, and why he cannot be on the court.

    I'm happy for you.

But this was, I repeat, not a criminal hearing. They were not there to establish innocence or guilt but to determine character and worthiness to serve on the highest court in the land.

No what I am saying is some talking heads and politicians will say she is credible whether they believe it or not. I am further saying is that there is no definitive answer here and never will be, and because of that it is all about politics which is to put it mildly unfortunate. Given the situation created indirectly by DR. Ford and directly and with malice aforethought - to use one them dang pesky legal terms - by Senator Feinstein in a, hopefully, vain attempt to restore her flagging political fortunes. it can be no other way.

And Kavanaugh succeeded brilliantly in demostrating that he more than belongs there.

If a person's character is on trial then it to should have the same protection on innocent until proven guilty. This is a trial in the court of public opinion and even that court should afford the same protections as a real court.

How would you feel if you were in his place? He sounds very human to me and I think we need more humans on the SC.

There is no evidence of Christine Blasey Ford, with no known motivation, (beyond the usual ubiquitous, nebulous, and nefarious "liberals!" engaged is some vague conspiracy contrived by ideological fantasists) having ever had memory problems, whereas Brett Kavanaugh (aka "Bart O'Kavanaugh") was described by his drinking buddy, Mark Judge, as becoming so inebriated that he passed out drunk.

Yes, it may well be a memory problem. Brett Kavanaugh (aka "Bart O'Kavanaugh") may well have been so drunk on that occasion (consistent with Ford's account of his condition) that he cannot recall his sexual assault upon her.

Just as Ford is incapable of remembering the date of the incident, the address the incident took place at, how she got to the party, who she got to the party with, or the names of anyone who is willing to corroborate her story and admit to being there?

I disagree. His partisan rants, threats of retaliation, were all very political and absolutely unfit for a SCOTUS judge.

I get that he's pissed but the partisan attacks and embrace of conspiracy theory is all pretty telling.

I never disagreed that he sounded human, and, if you go back in the multiple threads on this, I defended his authenticity as well as his human reaction to these allegations.

The point stands though, this was not a criminal court.

Yes, she honestly acknowledged that she was unable to document the details, and had been unable to do so on the very few occasions in the past that she did confide in others concerning the sexual assault, consistent with the impact such a traumatic event normally has upon such victims. Of course, if the exact venue cannot be documented, and only Brett Kavanaugh (aka "Bart O'Kavanaugh", Mark Ford, and Christine Blasey were present, how could anyone else confirm being present?

Adding to Ford's credibility is her having no known agenda to attract all the unwanted attention and persecution by unstable extremists, even including death threats. Brett Kavanaugh (aka "Bart Kavanaugh") has a powerful incentive to lie. For him, a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court is on the line.

Thus, he lies about even the little things:

There are those who can recall minute details related to traumatic events. Dates, times, scents, sounds, and numerous other details that most would overlook.

Ford has suffered legal setbacks in court rulings issued by the mother of Brett Kavanaugh when she served as a judge.

Absolutely correct. Except for his belligerence, his admission he will not be impartial, his loss of emotional control, his disrespect for the rule of law, his evasive answers, and his refusal to say he favored an FBI investigation. Other than that, he's perfect.
