I am writing to refer Ms. Judy Munro-Leighton for investigation of potential violations of 18 U.S.C. §§ 1001 (materially false statements) and 1505 (obstruction), for materially false statements she made to the Committee during the course of the Committee’s investigation.​

In short, during the Committee's time-sensitive investigation of allegations against Judge Kavanaugh, Ms. Munro-Leighton submitted a fabricated allegation, which diverted Committee resources. When questioned by Committee investigators she admitted it was false, a "ploy," and a "tactic." She was opposed to Judge Kavanaugh's confirmation.​

As I have repeatedly stated, Committee investigations in support of the judicial nomination process are an essential part of the Committee's constitutional role. The Committee is grateful to citizens who come forward with relevant information in good faith, even if they are not one hundred percent sure about what they know. But when individuals intentionally mislead the Committee, they divert Committee resources during time-sensitive investigations and materially impede our work. Such acts are not only unfair; they are potentially illegal. It is illegal to make materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statements to Congressional investigators. It is illegal to obstruct Committee investigations.

Accordingly, in light of the seriousness of these facts, and the threat these types of actions pose to the Committee's ability to perform its constitutional duties, I hope you will give this referral the utmost consideration.​

 

We are talking about allegations of sexual misconduct and testimonies and what occurred in Congress to which you said:

You're right, of course, it does indeed deserve jail time. It was a deliberate, premeditated attempt to interfere with and subvert a vitally-important function of the Federal Government. But, fat chance that sleepy ol' Jeff will actually get up off his lethargic ass and actually prosecute her.

So, instead, what I'd recommend is a nice, big, fat CIVIL lawsuit for slander, defamation, and libel, dragged out for as l-o-n-g as possible, which would rub every radical Democrat's face in the same kind of sh*t that they desperately tried to smear Kavanaugh with!

 

Both were witch-hunts ( which is also true of the Mueller investigation just on on the basis of sexual misconduct) conducted on the basis of allegations of sexual misconduct.

He sexually assault and harassed Paula Jones who was suing him in a federal court when Starr was handed prima facie evidence that he had committed perjury, obstruction of justice, subornation of perjury and witness tampering in that federal court. Paula Jones was not willing. Neither was Juanita Broaddrick. Neither was Kathleen Whiley. Neither were a host of women.
