Thus meaning the minor in question was indeed on the verge of death by the time the caravan arrived within the united states, thus meaning no degree of medical intervention was going to do any good even if it had been received immediately. The lack of a legitimate response on the part of yourself has been noted. What was missed on the part of yourself is that septic shock cannot develop unless the individual is already suffering from the condition of sepsis, meaning they have an untreated infection raging in their system. Because it does not. Where does the sodium come from to begin with, to cause the sodium levels to actually become high? It does not naturally occur within the human body. Which it does not. And yet nothing presented on the part of yourself has actually proven such. It has alluded and suggested that such is the case, but allusion and suggestion are not proof. The sources on the part of yourself are scientifically invalid. It is really that simple.
Why are you arguing with someone who has an obvious disability? If someone can not get beyond cause and effect then you are trying to prove something to someone who is stuck in development stage at the age of 7.
As the thread has no legitimacy, and no legitimate discussion can actually be had with what is available, the only course of action is to continue this back and forth nonsense until either the thread is ultimately closed by forum staff for exceeding its allowed length, or the discussion is entirely abandoned by the one unable to explain and defend their factually deficient position.
And take them on a deadly journey through an unforgiving desert which they could easily not survive? Then you would be JUST as irresponsible as this father. The only exception being if their life was in danger, but you are just talking in terms of "no future."
Yes, either a hike over the border, which practically everyone survives, or maybe a plane to Canada and then hike South, or even stay there. There are many ways to do it. There is risk in everything. 258 000 people die from sepsis every year in the US, and 92% of them got sepsis in their own community. It is not an exotic disease. Staying home out of fear of getting sepsis is irrational fear, and I do not suffer from it. Blaming the father, or anyone else, for someone having sepsis doesn't make any sense to me.
It is not a matter of the father being blamed for the minor in question developing sepsis, but rather the fact that he put his child in such danger when it was ultimately not necessary. The nation of Mexico is far safer and productive than the nation of Guatemala, and it was welcoming to them. But instead of taking the offer of asylum, work, healthcare and whatever else was being offered, the caravan decided to be greedy and try for more on the hope that the united states would share the same hospitality, when the news coverage has demonstrated so well that it would not.
The "danger", which is sepsis kills 258 000 Americans a year, so you put yourself in "unnecessary danger" every time you leave your bedroom. Hiking across the border this time of the year is not horribly dangerous. It can be dangerous in the heat of the summer, but this time of the year it is not a big deal. She got sepsis, and that is what killed her. It could have happened to her in Guatemala, and no one would know about her death, or it could have happened several months after her arrival in US, and no one would know. The only reason we are talking about this, is the fact that it happened in custody of the border patrol.
And to ask again, why is the father still in the US. He should be with his family in their time of grief, or was his daughters life of so little concern to him?
It's always sad when children die in the custody of the state. And yet, this is exactly what the law requires the state to do. And yet, those (generally liberals/democrats) who designed these processes suddenly seem aghast that somehow these kids are dying. Hmm...
All, do you know how many children die each week in Syria, Yemen or Africa ?? You don't even care. This is indeed Political forum .. nothing else ..
Devin Nunez likes illegal migrant workers.. Who wouldn't?? I helped write proposals for an electronic border initiative solicitation in 99 98.. The military infratructure was abuzz with enthusiam.. Dubya killed it.. we busted our azz on the proposal.. Nobody got funded at all
Bush and McCain were open border amnesty-loving quislings There are many repunlicans who want unrestricted migration for a variety of reasons But many more Americans who want controlled and limited legal immigration only
The third world brings its sick and diseased children to the U.S., expecting miracle cures. Sometimes miracles happen. Sometimes they don’t.
You were given a medical check when you entered through Ellis Island. If you had a medical concern you were offered the Ellis Island hospital, the largest in the country at the time, IF you could pay for it or IF you had a sponsor to pay for it else you were sent back to your point of departure on the next boat.
Why should one feel motivated to care about something that is beyond their capability to control or otherwise affect? All life ends eventually.
I don't give the father a pass. He knew his child was sick. She hadn't been able to eat of drink for days. Yet he sighs a form stating she is in good health.
Practically everyone survives the desert journey? Why do you act as if sepsis is the only risk in going on a dangerous journey?
Her parents should have thought about that before attempting to violate US law and sneak into America
subjecting a child to those conditions is child abuse. poor innocent girl had no say in the matter. but to the left it is within the acceptable casualty rate as long as her death is politically useful.
You jumped on the - ("her parents shouldn't have" )- bus too late, it has already been stated, debated and abated at least two dozen times here already.
