    Pelosi did offer a compromise. Trump rejected it.

    Oh I understand. You want to shove the obligation to pay for the wall, back on the very taxpayers that your president promised would not have to pay for it, Mexico will pay for the wall, when the Mexican govt budgets accordingly. The United States will pay for the wall when Congress budgets accordingly. That is what Trump is trying to force them to do.
