First Trump put an end to his own government by saying that the House should end it oversight duties or he will not attempt any further bipartisanship. Since any legislation requires the approval of the House and all funding bills begin in the House, that pretty much ends the functioning of the federal government until January 2021.

Trump did it all on his own.

The following day, while giving out more welfare to farmers hurt badly by Trump's tariffs, Trump asked his aids into the room to tell us how calm he was when he blew up and walked out on the infrastructure meeting after five minutes. This was hilarious.

First he asked Kellyanne Conway if he was calm in the brief meeting. “Very calm. No temper tantrum,” Conway said.

Then he asked Mercedes Schlapp, who described the President as “very calm” and “very direct.”

Next up was White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow. “You were very calm, and you laid out the case.”

And finally, as befit the whole ridiculous affair, Trump called on Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders who said, “Very calm—I’ve seen both and this was definitely not angry or ranting. Very calm, and straightforward, and clear that we have to actually get to work and do good things for the American people.”

Soon after that Trump proclaimed himself to be an "extremely stable genius."

Is it any wonder why Pelosi said, “This time, another temper tantrum, again. I pray for the president of the United States. I wish that his family or his administration or his staff would have an intervention for the good of the country.”

His followers can continue to try to hide, but there is something very wrong with this man. His super ego, narcissism, and vindictiveness is becoming an obsession. He called the Speaker of the House of Representatives "crazy Nancy."

Trump is citing executive privilege to prevent current and former White House employees from testifying before Congress.

Trump refuses to allow Congress to see the full, unredacted version of the Mueller Report, and underlying evidence.

Trump announced he will no longer work with the House of Representatives.

"The US secretary of state, Mike Pompeo, told the leaders of several congressional committees the president was claiming a national emergency existed because of a purported threat from Iran and was, as a result, giving permission for 22 arms deals with around $8bn (£6.3bn).

"A number of members of congress, which had already voted for the US to terminate its support for Saudi’s military operation against Yemen – a resolution Mr Trump vetoed – fear the weapons could be used in those bombing operations, which have resulted in widespread civilian injuries."

Trump will not tell us what those "purported threats" are most likely because there are none.

Trump continues to ratchet up the tensions in the Middle East. Trump has ordered some 1,500 troops to the Gulf region to serve a "mostly protective" purpose for American forces and interests. The last part of that sentence is an oxymoron, and the fool does not know what he is doing.

Is Trump begging to be impeached? Sure he is.

Can you imagine how wonderful it would be if the Democrats would stop their pogrom against president Trump and actually worked with him.

But that will never happen until all of the anti-Trump forces have been subdued and sent packing. Meanwhile, we're stuck with anti-trump posts that are built on hot air and hurt feelings.

So now Trump has decided since the Congress won't stop investigating him (they won't) he will abrogate his responsibilities of office. Trump's declaration of war on the United States Congress is a declaration of war on reality. Trump manifestly does not understand reality and he certainly doesn't understand political reality. In this case, as in countless others, Trump's instinct is to protect Trump and the country be damned.

This is but another example of Trump's inability to control his worst instincts and flair away at any detractor with heroic vigor. A real man, like Bill Clinton, would square their jaw against such odds and march resolutely into the storm. But Bill Clinton was a president. Trump was never meant to be president and nobody knows that fact better than Trump. His unsteadiness and irrational reversals have many White House participants foundling their worry beads.

No adult needs third party, public validation of their cool headedness under fire. That just demonstrated a fearful level of insecurity. No sane adult would ever go before the American people and declare themselves a "stable genius." Trump should have shut his mouth long ago. Unfortunately, it's too late now. He has dug a hole for himself from which escape is impossible. Trump is an incapable president leading an army of sycophants. It is a fearful sight to behold.

 

Why would a sane person go into a meeting with Nanci Pelosi after she had just declared him to be a treasonous crook on National media? How do you make yourself vulnerable to compromise with such a person? The resistance has met it's match. This isn't a recollection of McCain or Romney. This is a pitbull you are now up against! A sane person would not. If, for any reason, they decided not to meet, they would cancel ahead of time. A sane person would not go into the meeting and storm out three minutes later to rant behind a podium with a pre-printed sign with big fat all caps "NO NO" all of over it.

Now... a sane President who didn't have the mental age of a 13 year old would know that they have to work with their political enemies. They have no choice. And if they can't do that, then they need to resign.

So you have proven that our President is not sane. And that he has the mental age of a 13 year old.
