You have it backwards. You don't start an investigation in search of a crime, you start an investigation because of a crime. If only a "suspicion" was needed, everyone in the world would be subject to an investigation based upon one man's "suspicion".

If you want your brand of justice, move to the Soviet Union, and take the entire Democratic party with you.

Trump is richer and more famous than Kavanaugh. Any indictments?

LM is wrong. As Nancy said so often, "No one is above the law".

Of course it can't exonerate him. What would they exonerate him of? There were no charges, the President was not found guilty of any crime and it's time to move on to Part 9 of the Democrats chasing their dream.

No spoiler here. They decided how this story was going to end years ago.

Your evidence for any or all of this is what?

Trump should be impeached for, but not limited to:
    • Soliciting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to declare his government is investigating Joe Biden.
    • Obstructing the Mueller investigation.
    • Obstructing Congressional oversight of the Executive.
No President should behave this way.

No Congress should behave this way.
    • Investigating corruption is a duty of the executive branch and should be applauded, not criminalized.
    • The Mueller investigation was a criminal enterprise, and is currently under investigation by the DOJ.
    • Congress does not have oversight over the Executive, anymore than the Executive has oversight over the Legislative or Judicial. Separation of Powers.
The government's charter does not explicitly grant Congress the authority to conduct inquiries or investigations of the executive, to have access to records or materials held by the executive, or to issue subpoenas for documents or testimony from the executive.

Currently, the House is abusing its power by harassing, stalking, intimidating, threatening, and corruptly seeking to overthrow a co-equal branch of government, namely, the Executive branch, for no reason other than its own political bias.

    1. In the Whitewater case of Bill Clinton, I believe it was "suspicion" that triggered the investigation. In the Clinton impeachment, I believe it was "suspicion" of sexual misconduct that triggered the investigation. Suspicion of wrongdoing by Trump has led us to finding real evidence that he actually was & is doing wrong. Sometimes the line dividing suspicion & an actual crime is very thin & indistinct. We all have to make value judgments. If the suspicions regarding Trump led to no evidence, then they would have been discarded & no impeachment would have ensued.
    2. The Soviet Union no longer exists except in your head. Your post here simply illustrates your inability to live up to the demands of a healthy democracy, which prides itself on allowing those holding an opposite view, the same rights as you. Your answer to disagreement appears to be deportation of anyone who disagrees with you. That tells me that you have a low regard for democracy in America.

I have a simple question for you.

Do you think Clinton should have been impeached?

    1. Pelosi is carefully & thoughtfully following the standards & rules established by the two most recent impeachments, Nixon & Clinton. In the most recent one, Republicans did precisely the same things Pelosi is doing now.
    2. Yes, agreed. But Trump's public statements regarding his concerns over corruption in Ukraine turned out to be diversions at best, & pure fantasy at worst. He was using that term as a code for his illegal demands on Ukraine to investigate the Bidens & what he thought was the Ukraine interference in the 2016 election for Hillary. Trump is a lousy President, but a very successful con man.
    3. There was nothing "criminal" about that investigation. You're simply swallowing Barr's Kool-Aid.
    4. No, your're right on that point, but Congress DOES have the power to investigate & impeach members of the Executive branch, including the President.
    5. The rapidly growing evidence supporting Trump's abuse of power involving Ukraine, stands in strong opposition to your statement here. I will follow the evidence.

Clinton having consensual sex in the White House never threatened national security, or biased an election. Trump's demands that Ukraine investigate his political opponents, imposes foreign influences onto our elections, calling their outcomes into question. Plus, his use of Presidential power to withhold military aid, severely handicapped their ability to resist an ongoing military invasion of their country by our long-time foe, Russia (ruled by Trump's hero, Putin), and placed future developments there into a less predictable, & heightened state of danger to us & our allies. Clinton never endangered America with his actions. Trump has & continues doing so with his absolute stupidity. I offer Syria as his latest example.

There's no reason to believe Trump was concerned about corruption generally. Mueller was appointed by Republicans.
Congress was given the power of impeachment to check the Executive. Without Congressional oversight, the President becomes a dictator.

Thee are plenty of Trump political opponents with many in the Congress, Senate and media.

Clinton was tried and found guilty of lying to a Grand Jury and Obstruction of Justice.

You need to do more research before making your claims.
