That is NOT the death rate. That is a chart with the number of deaths so far after three months.

This virus is novel and it is increasing exponentially, still.

It is not appropriate to compare the average global deaths from Influenza to three months of data about a brand new virus.

    Protazoa.

But hydrochloroquine is being used as an immunomodulators, not for anti-viral effects

Not valid either. Yet this kind of thinking is typical with many rigutright of center people . That is what is hard to comprehend .

The flu has never overwhelmed our and other medical infrastructure in our lives. Just that should mattetmatter and be relevant without even looking at the stats .But this fact rolls out of the brain and out the ears and down the neck. Even when this Wuhan virus cycles out and you can compare it with the completed flu cycle you will still have some brains that will claim it was no worse than the flu . When the stats negate it. So this is like a crashed pc that has a fried processor. But you cannot fix the brain unlike the proscessor!

Let's be careful here. That is just one study.

And, COVID has run rampant in places with warmer temperatures than NY.

A 102 yo woman in Italy, born in 1917, has completely recovered from the Corona virus.

He blood shows evidence that she was exposed to and survived the Spanish flu, in 1918.

Someone SERIOUSLY ask the Chinese what's up. Their recovery rate is like 10 X that of ANY other nation. They're still lying to us. Either about the scope of the disease or the treatments.

South Korea and China's figures aren't that different. Could it be due to genes, perhaps they have some sort of Immunity

Covid-19 is a virus and antibiotics are ineffective against any virus. Antibiotics are only effective against bacterial infections.

Both COVID-19 and flu can be mild, severe, or, in rare cases, fatal. Both can also lead to pneumonia. However, the overall profile of COVID-19 is more serious. Estimates vary, but its mortality rate seems to be between about 1% and 3%.

They don't have many new cases so the ones in the hospitals are filtering thru.

Your argument looks stupid, RP12! Join the team, bud, don't stay outside in the cold.

I see Utah issued a mild shelter in place directive today: that startled me, but good on Governor Herbert.

As shitty as this situation is rapidly becoming, I strongly encourage to keep the positive stories coming.
