But, it is a very good second home, better than many others would have been, whether with or without Trump or Biden. Plus, it is the home of my children. I wouldn't call he and myself an elitist being conservative middle class professionals from nowhere MS. But I was classically educated and that helped me to understand the motives of politicians to use fear and emotional issues to influence elections and to try to see past that and focus on the issues that will affect me and my family. A lot of people vote based on emotional response and typically can not tell you anything about their candidates policies. It is not necessarily the politicians fault that most people can't understand the finer points of government and law and never read much past the headline of a news report, but they definitely do capitalize on it.

And make no mistake, I am not claiming to be able to understand all the policies and what effect they will have either. I have met many people smarter than myself who did not go to college, I just needed a little extra help to be successful.

 

Will the world end? No. Is it likely the rights of certain individuals will be taken away? Yes.

Gosh... So, what I wrote didn't register... funny. The truth is that the elite could, should they want to attempt to actually package policy in a way that isn't fear based, that isn't designed to ignore the public or to otherwise hide their intentional abuse of said policy, the public might actually want to adopt said policy. But easy is casting fear, and fear is quite a bit easier than being transparent.
