No, it is real censorship. It is legal for the private sector to censor what it likes. The constitution bars government from engaging in it.

The only part I disagree with is that the 'institutions' are too strong, the institutions are the problem. They're a joke. They're staffed by self interested bastards who cling to their own self importance rather than the importance of the nation and as a result, our government has been in disarray.

Last important bill Congress's has passed? Exactly. We need to reform the institutions, before worrying about the presidency.

I think that's a tad myopic. In truth, folks consolidate power because previous government regulatory initiatives have allowed it. Mostly because democrats think that having super consolidated entities allow them to control and restrict and create scarcity, which of course is ALWAYS the model of socialism. So, look at the much bigger picture. Google doesn't have the ability to control anyone's actual lives except to the extent that they can keep you from being better informed. It's like a democrat's wet dream. Every dictator in history wishes they could manipulate the public discourse the way that Google, FB Twitter et al get to do. I guarantee had these platforms adopted a more conservative approach folks like you would have started screaming naziism long ago. But, because you like what they do, you don't. And this is just one more example of how ignoring that Google et al weren't created in the "free market" to begin with, shows just how appealing their model for directing tyranny on your behalf is to you.

Please tell us how government regulation allowed Google to become a quasi-monopoly? Be specific. Also, tell us exactly how Democrats are in cahoots with Google to control information and model socialism? Could it be that Google's owners lean to the liberal side? How is that different from the Fox owner, Murdoch, trying to sway public opinion to the conservative side by using his network? Why do you criticize one, but not the other?

In truth, regulatory initiatives start because of abuses of power or unfair practices requiring regulatory intervention.

What abuse of power was being "remediated" that allowed Google, or for that matter, all fo the large tech firms, to buy up their competitors? What, looking back now, was or is fair in your opinion?

While Biden may not take our guns, his agenda is the most anti second in my lifetime.

Just remember: Reforming doesn't mean to tear them down. That's what I feel Trump has been working on: Sowing distrust in institutions that we have traditionally trusted. Without trust in our institutions, there can be no country. These institutions are bigger than the president and they should be protected by him/her, not destroyed.

With that said, I think our institutions are strong enough to survive four more years.

Given that Biden has already said Beta “We are coming for your guns” Orourke in control of his gun control policy.... I don’t believe you.

What is it exactly that you think would happen to you personally if you did not have any guns??
Would you die any sooner or later without guns??
Would you perhaps be frightened to death without guns??
Would you and your family starve without guns??

Well, after someone resurrected the thread:

See, everyone, the world didn't end on Wednesday. And it is not going to end in the next four years either.

But, we all have to do our part:
Dems: No gloating, no vindictiveness, don't try to put anyone in jail, try to work together and show compassion.
Republicans: Lay off the conspiracy theory, accept defeat graciously, don't tear the nation apart with "stolen election" B$.

I remember living just fine without a car.
So how is it that you think you will suffer if you didn't have a gun??

But I'm not suggesting that you justify anything...
just trying to understand this fear you have of losing
something that has caused so much misery. I could
perhaps understand if you lived in warzone.

Seems some people are too scared to go out in public without a gun. That being said, I do support their right to do so. It’s not about whether or not someone will suffer if they don’t have a gun. I’m a gun owner who enjoys target shooting and would like to continue enjoying my 2nd Amendment right.

I disagree and as strongly as I can. Trump has done everything he can to set the stage for a civil war and overthrow of the Constitutional government. We have seen that Republicans are spineless and refuse to set limits if a mob supports a Republican dictator in the making. It is painfully obvious, abundantly clear, beyond a doubt that trump fully intended to exceed the bounds of power and install himself as a dictator. And we have learned that much of what we thought protected us from abuses of power are really just standards and practices. Given an evil puke like trump and 50 corrupt or cowardly Senators, the entire system can easily be brought down. Trump has proven that time and time again.

The US system has completely failed in the most dangerous way possible.

We live in a house of cards and trump almost blew it down with nothing but hot air. You are not safe. After everything that has happened, 70 milliion people still voted for this puke. They are fantastically dangerous and constitute half the voters.

And yet they were not the ones assaulting over hats, no one from his admin called for public, mob harassment of elected officials.

Don't forget that they not only created a new flag, trump actually insisted to a group of children that the US flag is drawn like this new flag representing an authoritarian regime: That was an attack on the US just as surely as was Pearl Harbor, but far more insidious.

And yet it's the left who burns the flag. And I doubt the bolded.
