Why is Vlad Pootin so stupid and crazy?

Putin is approaching the end of a long career with nothing to show for it but winning rigged elections. He feels like he has to do what most Russian leaders have done since Ukraine was Russia 1000 years ago, add territory.

 

Suppose after Lincoln was elected 11 states left the country but Lincoln did nothing. Then in 1889 Benjamin Harrison declared war just on Virginia to get it back.
That's what's happening here.

 

Nothing Putin says is the truth.

There is no genocide going on in Ukraine. We can't think about his reasons because he isn't honest about what they are.

If we start out by assuming that what Putin says is authentic, then we are the fool.

 

Then study the lies to figure out what matters the most to him.

 

What message would Putin get when Biden released the sanctions on NS2 pipeline allowing him to stranglehold Europe with his gas supply?

It doesn't matter if Biden did these things once Ukraine was invaded. It matters what Putin would be thinking when Biden was lifting sanctions already imposed on Putins pipeline.

 

Some are saying he has lost it in his mad power grab. Question is is there enough political will power in the Duma and the military to do anything about it.

 

Probably the same one he got from Obama and Trump, the west isn’t in as strong a position as it seems.

And seeing as how the west has been arming Ukraine since what 2014? Nice try.

 

That doesn’t make sense. If NS2 got finished, Putin would be in an even better position to impose his will on the Ukraine because NS2 bypasses them.

Not sending weapons to the Ukraine simply meant that the status quo would be maintained. Ukraine would lack the equipment to take back the disputed areas.

Now, because Putin started a shooting war and is killing civilians, in one stroke he has lost his economic leverage and united Europe against him from top to bottom. Even the Swiss are lining up against him.

This was not a smart move.

 

The strong resistance of the Ukrainian army, as demonstrated on Sunday in the defense of Kyiv and Kharkiv, apparently came as a surprise to the Kremlin. Apparently, comrade Pootin was assuming a clear and quick victory against Ukraine.

Pootin's lying propaganda media published last Saturday that the war is over, which obviously isn't true.

And so Kremlin-troll Pjotr Akopov wrote in the now-deleted column that a “new world is being born before our eyes”. The "Russian military operation", as Putin calls the war of aggression in Ukraine, heralded a new era.

 

Hence why I asked, what kind of message does Putin get when Trump enforced the sanctions on NS2 contractors to stop NS2 from coming on line, then Biden releases those sanctions.

That isn't the question. Ukraine has already been approved for lethal weapons, Trump sent them lethal weapons, and Biden cut them off. You don't think Putin isn't getting an idea over that decision?

 

Arming since 2014? In what world would that be again? Obama NEVER gave lethal weapons to Ukraine. And you are just learning this?

It has nothing to do with 'nazis'.

This is about securing territory and resources for his people. Ch!na is doing the same thing. Trying to secure whatever they have to in order to feed the masses.

 

They want to regain/retain whatever territory once sustained them independently. As the global machine collapes, self-sufficiency will become crucial.

 

Yet Western media is pretending it's a localised distant skirmish.

 

The world woke crowd has been calling everyone nazis they disagree with. Maybe he noticed and hoped if he did it, the world woke crowd would jump on that bandwagon too.

Ukranians weren't going to just roll over and capitulate with no pushback.
The rest of the world weren't going to give him a high five (has there been anything definitive from China yet?).
The financial foundation would have plummeted from the word "Go".

@AARguy posted a few days back with the theory that Putin might be suffering from a terminal illness and this is his last "Hooray"! Don't people just have lavish parties and see their extended family and long lost friends one last time and not, you know, start a war!?

What would be the point in sending his own citizens into financial ruin and hated by everybody in the world (except maybe the Chinese)?

 

Around 80 years ago, the Russians had to fight real Nazis. Dictator Putin apparently wants to reactivate this trauma in order to use it against Ukraine.

Did Biden not get the memo. Ukraine is under attack?
75 million in non lethal aid and all this while they are under attack?

What kind of message does that send to Putin? Weak and incompetence.

Study what Hitler did in the final days. He ordered an attack on the Russians from the north, with an Army that barely existed. He spent hours detailing his "decisive stroke" just days before the Russians overwhelmed Berlin. Hitler's staff obeyed and planned with him, knowing he was nuts. Then they had a party for Hitler's birthday. While Hitler retreated to his room with Eva Braun to end her life and his own, the staff escaped as best they could.
Hope springs eternal we'll see something like this with Putin.
