**** your ****** faith. It's YOUR clinical delusion it's NOT mine and WHY religious fanatics seem to think they have the right to enforce their primitive superstitions on all the rest of us by law is beyond ANY theory of how you should run a "free" country I can think of. IMO the lot of them are no better than some muslim thug who straps on a bomb and goes out to bravely kill several teenagers having coffee on a sunny day, worse actually, since I can avoid them but you're in my bedroom 24/7
Such drama. As is noted, in both responses, if a woman says that she won't have an abortion, clearly that indicates no legal obligation to the woman to follow the wishes of the man, and because it doesn't, it also creates the situation where consent to be responsible for the woman's choice not to abort should have consequences. You aren't really pro choice, are you.... not a question. Women want to be treated equitable, that doesn't otherwise produce or proved them extra legal rights nor should it. And yes, a woman as you say makes the choice. If that choice doesn't respect the wishes of the father, it should be her responsibility to bear the cost of that decision. Since you don't respect that a man has a choice, you cannot and should not then legally enjoin him for a choice he doesn't consent to. Would you suggest that a woman cannot rape a man? Your commentary does suggest that you don't believe it. Sorry, your comment is both disingenuous, and fails.
Inescapable logic. I stopped even considering support for Republicans when they opposed abortion rights. 'What if we have a national emergency and a Republican is the best candidate?' I've been asked. 'I hope my support isn't critical,' I reply, 'because Hell will freeze over before I vote for a pol who supports pushing pregnant women around.'
Perhaps I didn't make the words big enough ! I've already answered your silly post: FoxHastings said: ↑ So if the father says , "abort", the woman has to?? UNANSWERED Excellent way to squirm out of answering the question..So if the father says , "abort", the woman has to?? ..blame it somehow on feminism...LOL... Yes, if the "father" crawls away it falls on the woman to birth the baby...but then it is a PERSON which the state has interest in and hence has made laws that the father pays for his kids so you and I don't have to.......women don't make the men pay, the law does. And YES, in ABORTION there is only ONE person who is pregnant and it's her body to do as she pleases, abortion or gestation.....and THAT is what "CHOICE" refers to. , She had that right first.. Duh, Yup, she gives birth....lol thought that would be obvious .. Not a fact. What you think doesn't matter. Women have no "extra legal rights" And the word is "equitably"" learn those correct big words She does....how TF many times do you have to be told that...only she gestates or aborts.. What TF was that all about?? Flailing?? if the "father" crawls away it falls on the woman to birth the baby...but then it is a PERSON which the state has interest in and hence has made laws that the father pays for his kids so you and I don't have to.......women don't make the men pay, the law does.
Except we aren't talking about how she got pregnant, since abortion takes place AFTER she becomes pregnant.
Let's see if YOURS holds up to scrutiny. What will most likely happen is that you will ungracefully pull out of the debate as you always do with me, just like everyone else who goes up against me! Anyway, we'll see what happens I guess! This should be fun! Only religious people? And nobody on the left is pro-life? That's a religious argument which anyone would be a fool to make. The better argument is the SCIENTIFIC argument. I want elective abortion banned based on the SCIENCE (not the "belief") that a LIFE (not a "soul") is created when an egg is fertilised. If the woman can somehow end the pregnancy herself without anyone's intervention, then she should be able to. Alot.
I'm just using your stupid standard of 'if you don't like something and you think that it should be illegal, then just don't do it.'
No, it's removing an option and if she decides to continue to live with her pregnancy, that's her choice. She may have the option of an illegal abortion but she might not choose that option, instead choosing to live with her pregnancy.
