    Right, my point was that DeSantis doesn't have too much dirt on him, and you went right back to your favorite topic (Trump). There is always some dirt slinging on the campaign trail, and Ron will sling his share, but that is normal.

    few senators are anything like the people they "represent" most are multi millionaires. the GOP ones tend to be that way before being elected-the Democrats end up that way after being elected.

    look at Al Gore Sr for example. The poor country school teacher died worth millions. Now Jay Rockefeller was really rich before becoming a senator-I will admit.

    I think Trump might have had a little effect, but this is my take on it.
    It's easy. I said it almost two months ago. 1. The USSC didn't do Republicans any favors ruling on birth control when they did, just a few months before the election. 2. The Democrats were smart getting people to sign up for mail in ballots. They usually don't have a big turnout on these interim elections when the Presidency isn't involved. Not as much interest and people don't like standing out in the cold. But mail in ballots and abortion changed all that. You hit on their real sore spot with ruling on abortion and mail in ballots made it easy to vote. I think I must be one of damn few that didn't see this big wave my fellow Republicans were talking about.
