DeSantis investigating drag show with children present

Did the children go to the show on their own or were they with their parents. If it's ok with the parents then what is the issue? Now, while I would NEVER....NEVER have taken my kids to a drag show...let me repeat that for the reading impaired...while I would NEVER....NEVER have taken my kids to a drag show, other parents have every right to do so.

They care so much about protecting children — unless that child has been recently raped and then she should be forced to carry that child to term (it was likely her fault for dressing that way) — unless it’s a child raped in a place of worship (5000+ confirmed cases) and then they ignore it and continue to donate — unless the child needs medical treatment and their family is poor

Does anyone else get the feeling they don’t really care that much about children unless they can use them as a weapon? I guess this is all lessons they have learned from being armed with the Bible.

Do you have a source that a minor seeing an explicit drag show with parental supervision is any worse than them seeing a rated R movie and that both will cause “more child rape”? Or is it how you just really really feel and like a typical republican it is now fact to you?

 

What do you feel should happen with parents that disagree? What about parents letting this children watch rated R films?

I saw this subject line but once I started reading the thread I found out the real issue is the Catholic Church and Florida's Parental Rights in Education act.

i made a thread showing videos of this. I do not need or care to waste time dealing with your denial. You are free to pretend it isn’t happening. These drag queens aren’t dressing up like Disney characters. It’s more like burlesque. Not for kids! Rates R movies? Really? That reeks of desperation.

So burlesque is much worse for kids than seeing an r-rated movie that could show rape, domestic abuse, murder, etc???
And again, for the reading impaired, I’ve already stated I would have never taken my kids to a drag show. More so because I had zero interest in seeing such a show.
I also didn’t take my kids to r-rated movies either.

 

They were shown stexually suggestive material at an inappropriate age with the intent of desensitizing them which makes them more vulnerable to predators.
