Gun Control needs to be instituted

Except there are many black people who don’t have this anger because they don’t hold onto the past. Especially a past they didn’t experience.

 

As an example, so far in the first month of this New Year, there have been more suicides from guns than deaths, (murders and unintentional deaths) by guns. Yes, they love to mix them apples with oranges. Why not be honest about it?

That does NOT MATTER to this OP. In fact, if what you say is true (likely), then the problem is even worse. If there is less anger among Blacks, why then do we continue to be the #1 nation in the world for gun ownership and gun deaths? Addressing the Black issue anger, shouldn't that have caused us less gun deaths to occur? In 2020, we had double the number of gun deaths than in 2019 and that continues to increase in a huge way (38 people killed in mass shootings in the past 3 weeks alone).

Stop trying to prove me wrong (you can't because the data is clear) and start addressing the OP and how to stop the problem from continuing as it is (we are the #1 in the world on gun ownership and gun related deaths). This is the one thing we should NOT be #1 on.

I really don't care if gang members want to go around and kill each other ... Which is what a large number of homicide deaths are by guns.

But you want to punish 99% of the people for the actions of 1% of them. I don't believe it's the government's job to try to make life safe for me because that's how you wake up on prison planet in a nanny state.

I would rather have freedom even if it is dangerous.

Did you ever find any evidence to support your claim that all of these mass shootings in the recent past that none of them are gang violence?

First of all those are two separate issues and second of all I believe that you are incorrect

 

We are not #1 in gun related deaths. The US isn’t even in the top 20 gun related deaths per 100k.

 

You want to know why our stats are so high? Look at the differences in cultures, then look at the fbi stats. Pretending the culture of the US is similar to other countries is silly. They don’t have as many black on black crimes, do they? No. I’m pretty sure regular every day black people aren’t any happier about being preyed upon by each other but you’re 5 x more likely to be killed by another black person.
That’s statistics, wink at that part.
