As soon as I got to "Right", I quit reading. The planet knows Americans Rights, but that is not the topic of the thread.
Is that's what's happened in Western countries? Can you name one that has banned guns? Do you know what some people do if a certain feature on a gun makes the gun unsuitable?
yeah-engljand banned almost all handguns and semi auto rifles-you seem to think if there is one type of gun available, then gun bans didn't happen. Its as stupid as saying that a government can ban Jewish temples, Catholic Churches, Baptist meeting halls, and Islamic Mosques as long as it keeps the Church of England intact.
I'm English, I speak the kings English. You're American, you speak a butchered version of English. Could you grab a dictionary and put your rant in correct English please.
that's a gut buster. I suspect he forgets more about firearms than you have ever known. I have been dealing with anti gun advocates since I was a teen and I can count on one hand those whose understanding of firearms was superior to say my son's when he was ten years old
Well I finished in the top one tenth of one percent on that part of the standardized College entrance exams as well as having a top score on the AP exam. I suspect you really are merely trying to divert now
No link to a gun ban? So if car regulations say a Formula One car is unsuitable for the public roads, it doesn't meet road regulations, are you saying cars are banned? So if the AR 15 assault rifle is not suitable in public, are you claiming there's a gun ban? The whole purpose of the thread is to see why American brains see Regulation as Ban, but only on guns.
Are automatic rifles in the US allowed? You can have hand guns in the UK, but the overall length has to be a certain length. So you simply get a longer stock and/or barrel.
That's brilliant, but because I'm English I'm not anti-gun. See, there you go again, you have an American brain, so you default to Gun Ban and Anti Gunners. I'm intrigued why Americans suffer this problem/ailment.
if you want to discuss this issue-playing stupid is not very helpful DO YOU DENY that England banned handguns, confiscated many that were in private hands and banned semi auto magazine rifles? If you cannot own something then it is banned. stop playing silly games-tell us what regulations YOU think are proper and I will take them apart
we prefer being citizens and laugh at those who like being subjects. We don't care what foreigners think of our rights until they try to take those rights away. Subjects of a decadent has been nation are amusing to listen to.
Must have been an easy test. We are in the domestic world, no field marshalls, or exalted leaders here.
All I can say is, watch this short video on UK gun law. It'll answer many of your questions, and hopefully stop twice as many. You might be surprised at what guns people can legally own. I say legally, because there's thousands hidden that the police don't know about. You can have a hand gun, it's the size/length that changed. I suppose, it's to make concealment more difficult. Personally, it's a stupid regulation.
Yet again, you defaulted to one of the Gun Nut 10 Commandments - Subjects The reason for this is, you have no knowledge of the British civil war. You have no knowledge when the right to bear arms stopped in the UK. You have no knowledge when the UK Absolute Monarchy changed to a constitutional monarchy. And your use of subject, means you didn't have any knowledge of the word you spoke because it simply means, "UK National". Your knowledge of Subject is as low as your knowledge of Gun Regulation, ZERO.
You tell me, what does Subject mean to you? It changed in 1983. It simply means British Nationality. Here's the UK governments link. I've provided it to update your non existent knowledge. https://www.gov.uk/types-of-british-nationality/british-subject I've got my pop corn. I always do this for pending dumb replies.
I have shot driven birds four times in England as well as represented my country when we stomped the brits in skeet. I know you think if many types of guns are banned-that is not a gun ban.
I know Brits I met at international shooting events could no longer train in England with their handguns
I don't care. There is no 6-year-old Tommy or his little sister in my home, and never has been as long as I've owned it. If it makes you feel any better, I do think people with kids should be held liable if they enable such a scenario to play out in their dwelling, depending on the circumstances, of course. If 6-year-old Tommy and his little sister break into my home when I'm not here, find a gun, and Tommy blows his sister's head off, that's on their parents. Yes. Because gun grabbers, both foreign and domestic say stupid bullshit like this: The 'objevtive' is to create a culture where guns in public high streets, shops etc.. is a no no. That is not an objective in a country that puts individual freedoms on a pedestal. And I don't really give a crap what foreigners have to say, because it's none of their, including your, business. Go enjoy your gun-free society, be glad you aren't here, and hope that you don't run into someone who would just love to bash your face in with a baseball bat (or even a homemade gun, as they are really simple mechanical devices that are not at all difficult to craft if you have the tools and knowledge) who intends to harm you, little Tommy, or his sister. BTW, it's spelled 'objective'.
It's not about safety. It's about the government having total control over you. Democide is far more deadly than an armed population. There is no country in the world that has a lower homicide rate after "gun control" measures. That's why you have UK police running around confiscating screwdrivers now.
So now the thread on trying to work out the mind of gun nuts on regulations=ban has now jumped to a Ugandan dictator? America needs to stop selling Cool Aid.
