    Even a pandemic type election did not prevent democracy. Mail-in ballots were used more frequently in 2020 because of the Virus, not in spite of it. People just don't want to be around possibly sick people with no vaccine and no strong medical protocols. The GOP tried to make the argument that Covid was nothing, despite the hospitals being full and people dying because of the disease in vast numbers.

    To get a mail in ballot, one has to request a ballot. A request for a mail in ballot should be a permanent prerequisite for the state mailing out a ballot.

    Many states mailed out ballots during the pandemic using existing voter roles. I've worked in precinct elections and know how hard it is to get someone off the voting role...One has to provide a death certificate to get someone off the voting role. Do you know how many times I was told by a voter that so and so on the voter role didn't even live in the state anymore? I could only shrug my shoulders.

    Nonsense. Many governors, including NY, MI, and CA, and many mayors were ardent enthusiastic supporters and protagonists of private enterprise and religion venue shutdowns.

    Ok .. you guys keep up with Hope.

    We, Democrats will stuff ballot, dead people will vote, undocumented will vote, Italian server will change vote count, 2000 mules will drop off fake ballot. We are good at this. And we now control federal government.

    The sooner you accept this fact the better it is for you. At least you don’t have to worry about election. you already know the answer – Democrats will win , and Joe Biden will be in WH “ Till Death Do Us Part” and then we will elect Hunter Biden. Poor guy getting hammered by republican and he is not even enjoying the power. We will change that in 2028 or 2032.

    Which were instituted by pandemic 'expert' gov't health agencies like WHO/NIH/CDC. Trump yielded to the pandemic 'experts' and the pandemic 'experts' were wrong.

    Besides, you would've been all over Trump if Trump hadn't yielded to pandemic 'expert' gov't health agencies (which were wrong).

    My usage of McCarthyism in my OP was a slur on fascism and authoritarianism and not on the Irish.:roll: Are you implying that Kevin McCarthy is like Joe McCarthy in their political styles? BTW, I'm implying that Joe Biden and Joe McCarthy are similar in their political styles because both are fascists, at least.

    Yes, Trump kept pandemic rules at an arm's length. It was politically imperative he did so. Otherwise, as I've alluded to in a previous post you quoted, Trump would've been lambasted by Trump haters for 'not following the science'...One thing that the CDC/NIH/WHO didn't do was follow the science.
