It looks like Disney and their lawyers outsmarted de Santis by taking power away from De Santis' hand picked cronies. I had always thought the GOP believed in free market economics and letting private businesses handle themselves? Now, De Santis is talking about tolls and taxes to harm Disney's business because they made him look stupid.

How is this defensible? What would Ronald Regan think of the government trying to kill a private enterprise?

He was made to be a fool in his legal entitlement with Disney so all a fascist knows how to do is double down.

Disturbing abuse of power — I am sure all of our right wingers who support free speech against government interference will denounce this? Surely.

It will be interesting to see how DeSantis gets around the constitutional bar against a bill of attainder.

Or maybe he wasn’t in class that year.

I think DeSantis promised not to have any more toll roads in which a couple of years ago signed a bill for toll relief. Now, it appears he is going back on his word, all because he is acting like a bully and thinks he is dictator for life.

DeSantis scares Democrats so much because he doesn't have one foot in the grave like 94 year old Joe Biden.

    He does scare them.

Plus, 2/3 of Americans don't want Biden to run for reelection. I really have to wonder why some think Biden should have another term in office.

The country shouldn't have to endure the above for 8 years.

Bwahahaha. I can’t wait for him to run. He is such a weak candidate for a national run for office.

    They are terrified of DeSantis.
I guess the 60% of Democrats who support DeSantis Parental rights law and the 22 Democrats who voted for it in the house are all Fascist now as well.

They love to call everyone who doesn't think like they do, fascist yet this is what they support

California owned theme park threatening Florida legislators and their voters to do what they say no matter how the state voted.
Antifa thugs beating down people in the street over their political beliefs
lefties attacking people in restaurants because they are Republicans.
568 riots burning down billions in American businesses because they got their feelings hurt
Leftist Assassins going after a Justice
Taking over the city of Seattle
Burning down Federal courts and Police stations
    Shutting down conservative speakers

But thats their idea of free speech and if you stop them, you are the fascist.
Which is why nobody listens to them except their own fascist groups

Ohhh I think there's been far more "fascist" behavior from the "thought control", intolerant left.

Nothing like saying “I hate the left” like cheering your party for doing everything your side accuses them of doing.

Do you support government targeting businesses for their speech? Yes or no?

Good for them... Some out-of-state located theme park should not be able to dictate local happenings.

And nothing quite says cheering your party like constantly cheering for the left but then denying that you are on the left...

I went to Disney when I was a kid here in Florida probably in 1986 or so....

I'm an old male Spinster now.

If I had kids I highly doubt that it would be the same place I went to and I highly doubt that I would take them there nowadays.

In think it was someone on TYT who said “Disney modelled it’s villains off of it lawyers” :p I would leave this to the Disney lawyers who so far have proven that De Santis may be a lawyer himself but he seems be not in the same league as the Disney legal team

edit it is DeSantis not De Santa - seems even spellcheck hates his guts

Anything that takes a **** on Disney and their promotion of a ****ing mental disorder is a good thing.

You have NO idea how big Disney is in Asia. And it is a market with BIG potential for them they know that if they can crack into THAT international market even more that they could walk away from America. This is the real reason for the racial “wokeism” you are seeing on Disney.

And is that asterisk “mental disorder” as dangerous to kids as the guns that have flooded America?
