This Disney war is costing DeSantis Republican support. Pretty much killed any chance he has at being President. In two years Ron’s political career ends.

 

DeSantis made it CRYSTAL clear that it is NOT OK to hold positions not supporting of those of DeSantis.,

And, he has made multiple moves to assault them for it.

The action of supporting those who groom children. If you are against a bill that prevents teachers from talking with children about sex behind their parents backs you SUPPORT grooming. Its really really simple, but your endless denial of reality is amusing.

Right to free speech? There is no free speech as Democrats have demonstrated time and time again. Businesses banning people for NOT calling someone by their preferred pronouns? Did you support Twitter and Youtube banning people for their free speech? FL didn't BAN Disney from doing anything. Disney can continue to support the grooming of children and FL is free to disagree with that disgusting stance and rescind all favors offered. Disney didn't LOSE anything. They only went back to an even playing field with other businesses. Fair now, right? Don't you like fairness?

Oh puleeze. Nobody is giving six year olds anal sex demonstrations. This is preventing teachers from acknowledging that some kids have two dads.

 

1 there is no such thing as free speech in the private sector, it’s to prevent govt from infringing
2 they aren’t in par with all the other businesses, as some didn’t get their special status stripped

 

This bill did ban teachers talking about sex, which wasn’t really happening but I don’t think anyone would have had an issue with that.

It also banned discussions when there is a gay character in books in non-sexual literature, districts sent out notices to teachers to remove photos of their same sex partner, the pride flag was effectively banned, some classrooms took down rainbows.

That is where people had issue and what Disney protested.

Free speech applies only to the government. Is YouTube or Twitter the government?

No one would have an issue if all businesses were treated equally including the 1700 special districts in Florida. That only one lost this and did so because of their speech is what the issue is.
