    IOWA.

There is a lot of legislation that has been passed, and that is being debated now that will take away rights form my son because of his sexual orientation.

3-4 years ago I would agree that they weren’t assaulting my sons rights, but we have a “dont say gay bill” and a bill that limits “gender care” that is so broad, with penalties so sever for caregivers that that care will most likely stop out of fear of reprisals against caregiver by the state.

This Trans Movement seems to harbor a LOT of hate violence toward women.

There was discussion and even some movement on that in my state so we left. We(my family) are all better off that we did.

I don’t believe the don’t say gay bill takes away rights….you’re referring to the bill in Florida?

I would normally say I hope things change here, but were going to give it one more election cycle to see. If it doesn’t we will consider moving

No, in the Iowa bill it requires teachers to out a student if they know his/her orientation is gay.

That takes away his right to privacy, and could get him hurt.

Women for womanhood. I'm a man, I can never imagine a woman's challenges, and I think it's a disservice to try and pretend that wearing a bra and a dress makes me a woman, it doesn't.

Okay, that's a fair point, but I'd like to see some pushback against the lunatics by the sane ones, as Caitlin Jenner has done.

Also, blacks loudly protesting police killing of black suspects without provocation is one thing; screaming at a swimmer for calling for biological males to compete only against other males is different.

And OJ was innocent. Just ask him.

On edit: one other thing: institutions like this San Fran College and Stanford and Yale law schools are being pressured by trans groups not to punish these disruptions. And it's not just one crazed trans, but by organized walkouts and protests. Normal students daren't push back for fear they'll be shunned and harassed as well.

What am I supposed to think?

Would like to see proof of this. I'm not saying you're wrong, because I admit I don't know, but I suspect and hope there is more to the bill than that.

Because the state legislature is full of old farmers from small towns who refuse to accept that people are different. Its a shame law…

Men an women are equal. Right?

Some of the people whining about this are the same ones that demanded equality, women in combat arms units, women fighter pilots, etc.

That's why I don't have a lot of sympathy for them.

Equal in the eyes of god and man…..But that “equality” in certain arenas requires leveling of the playing filed, as in sports. YES, woman can be just as good in combat as that combat is no longer hand to hand, but they can program a missle the same as a man and push the button or pull the trigger to fire just the same

Why does she tolerate the 'B,' after the 'LG' then?

Simple. LGB is about who a person is attracted to. All the other letters, numbers and symbols are either mentally ill people or people seeking attention and they glom on to LGB for protection. If you criticize a non binary or T person, you’re criticizing all of LGB. What does a guy thinking he’s a girl have to do with being gay? Nothing. It’s purely a strength in numbers game. If LGB didn’t come before T they would be a teeny, tiny voting block with no influence.

Edit: also, if you’re gay, you’re now behind the people who are T. When was the last time you heard anyone anywhere speak up for gays and only gays?

I dunno. It is a World I have never had a need to deal with personally. But...I imagine a bloke who reckons he is a woman is going to be attracted to a man, or a woman, or a person who identifies as either, yes? So...is a trans not also about who they are attracted to?

Having said that...reckon I'll bow out of this.

'MORE TRANS VIOLENCE: WATCH: ‘When they want you silent, speak louder’: Riley Gaines attacked at SF State. Trans people are fine, but trans activists are awful.'

    https://instapundit.com/578344/

'A mob of pro-trans protesters swarmed a Riley Gaines event hosted by Turning Point USA at San Francisco State University on Thursday evening, during which she was hit by a biologically male transgender protester. Student organizers of the event told Campus Reform that security was inadequate until the San Francisco Police Department was contacted by the university.'

    She needs to file suit.
