So you asked me if I support the government attacking private businesses because they spoke out against a law?
So you didn't know Disney was a publicly traded company huh. That explains a few things.
But I gave you your answer anyway.

    So now its your turn.
Do you support publicly traded companies trying to repeal laws in states where the states voters decided to that protect 5 year olds from being indoctrinated with their woke ideologies to include trans a gay sexuality issues?

    Deflection coming in 3----2----1----

Imagine that. A company fighting against a bigoted law that doesn't affect them.

Next thing you'll tell me is that white people marched in the civil rights protests.

Explain why there are over 1900 special districts in Florida. Does the governor appoint his cronies to each of those boards? If not, why is Reedy Creek different.

The only deflection I see is you telling us that Disney is a publicly traded company.

I know everyone is thinking the same thing but I'll just come out and say it.

    So frigging what?

I am sure you believe 5 year olds should be indoctrinated with Disneys woke trans and gay sexuality issues but the voters decided otherwise.
    Sorry for your loss

You can speak out against laws that don't affect you. At least I thought you could. I didn't know businesses were

Finally you admit these threats do nothing to stop wokeism and are merely punitive damages being imposed for speaking out against the government.

No they didn't lol! The law has nothing to do with Disney. Disney can indoctrinate as many kids as they want because the bill signed by DeSantis says nothing about Disney. DeSantis' threats against Disney has nothing to do with indoctrination by Disney.

So you think some publicly traded company has the right to overturn the will of the voters in their own state so their 5 year olds can be exposed to their trans and gays sexuality issues without parental consent?
    Who knew

Oh, he woke up? Imagine that.
You're right, the bill has NOTHING to do with Disney but Disney decided to butt in to get the law repealed.
You see. You can figure these things out
    Good for you Sir

I guess businesses should keep their mouth shut or else face reprisal from the government. There is a word for that.

So you think its appropriate for publicly held companies to veto laws voted on by a states legislation and its voters to stop them from protecting their 5 year olds from trans and gay sexuality issues.
    Thats what Disney thought too.
Good thing you aren't a publicly traded company that would lose 123 billion of your stock value over it. huh

What in the world are you talking about. Disney did not try to veto any law lol! They exercised their 1st amendment rights like any other business or individual. Please explain why Disney is exempt from the constitution.

I think a publicly traded company gets to make whatever legal deals it wants with other entities, who knew you thought government should control these things. How is your day going Comrade?

Its odd how many of you claim that this is all in fairness when it’s actually just your boy getting his feelings hurt.

That none of you can even admit what this is says more about your own agenda than it does anything else though.

Yeah, its a bit late to whine about freedom of speech. lol
Disney threatened the Florida legislators to either remove the bill or Disney would use everything at their disposal to have the bill repealed.
    Thats how the fight started.
Disney has no right to tell Florida legislators what they will and will not do

If it was a free speech issue, Disney would have brought that up during their fight, that they lost.
But you are free to support anything you want. Indoctrinating the voters children with their woke ideology trying to tell the voters they have no rights isn't really the side I would pick but hey, to each their own.

There is a reason none of this will respond to this in good faith — it completely demolishes everything they have said they stood for from free speech to property rights to cancel culture.

    It’s a fascinating display

Since I'm not the one supporting telling voters they have no right to stop teachers from indoctrinating their 5 year olds with gay and trans sexuality issues because Disney got their feelings hurt over their woke ideology, I feel pretty good.
Now that the pedophiles in Florida are all upset over it, I'm sure Disney can find support in those voters.

Disney's stock is performing nicely, outperforming the DOW Jones since the beginning of the year.

Good for them. You will keep us all updated when they capture back that 123 billion dollar loss won't you. I'm sure their stock holders that got crushed would love to know that.
