Stock is rebounding nicely now that investors know there won't be a hostile government takeover.

I purchased many shares of Disney near its low point so will keep you updated on its performance.

I'll alert the stock holders that lost hundreds of millions that everything is ok because you bought shares at its lowest point.

It’s telling how bad they want to deflect from this. While they are largely incorrect that the majority of the stock loss was due to ron it should show every moderate reading this just what the republicans support and it looks awfully close to fascism.

If a liberal governor was openly attacking a private company like this because they spoke out against their politics I would be calling for their removal.

Difference between integrity and none I guess

In other words, you support publicly traded companies demanding voters and legislators repealing their laws that protect their own 5 year olds from trans and gay sexuality issues being forced down their throats.
Because they have a right to free speech.
Because thats all you care about. Disneys woke ideology. Piss on the children. They don't fit your narrative

That’s a long winded way of saying you only support free speech when you support what is being said (or in this case what the MSM has fed you)

I think all Americans have the right to free speech as long as it does not incite violence and if it does that needs to be handled through the court system and not politicians.

I didn’t think free speech was that hard to comprehend

So now you're back to pretend land?
This wasn't about Disney trying to get Florida to repeal its law that stopped teachers from discussing trans and gay sexuality issues with 5 year olds?
This was all just MSN lies?
You can't sell that anywhere. lol

Maybe you should read the law.

This was about Disney saying they disagreed with a bill and would use the legal system as is the right of any American that believes a law is unjust.

Just like Hobby Lobby did after they disagreed with a law supported by the majority of Americans. I bet you wouldn’t be cheering liberal governors installing toll roads outside those stores or implementing special taxes so you will just simply ignore this completely.

Again, I support Americans having free speech and being able to use the US court system — not politicians attacking them over their speech.

Unjust? Stopping teachers from indoctrinating 5 year olds with Disneys wishes to include them in trans and gay sexuality issues is unjust?
    On what ****ing planet?
This was about Disneys woke BS ideology and their threats to spend millions costing Florida taxpayers millions. Not an unjust law.
Its about Disney FORCING their wokeness on Florida Taxpayers rather they like it or not.
This is where you got all this garbage from. Its an UNJUST LAW?

So all your post are about how the law to protect 5 year old children from this trans and gay issues is UNJUST?
    Just wow. OMG

You have already admitted that this law was just to ban homosexual representation — Disney simply disagreed that homosexual representation should be banned.

Do you believe people should not have the freedom of speech against government penalty to say they disagree with it?

So a law, that isn't unjust, that has NOTHING to do with Disney WHAT SO EVER, and implemented for the safety of 5 year olds, needs to be repealed because its against Disneys wokeism, and if Florida doesn't repeal it, Disney will cost Florida taxpayers millions.
And this is your idea of a free speech issue?
    Good luck

    1) It’s your opinion that this vague law — that you have admitted wasn’t to end sexual topics but just stop homosexual representation — increases children’s safety.

    2) If a law is struck down by our court system it was likely unjust. It is good you care about costs, how much has been spent defending the “stop woke act”?

    3) Speech is speech. That you think government should intervene in speech that isn’t illegal tells everyone everything about your agenda.

Why should the Disney corporation get state welfare?

It's a corporation don't they make millions and millions of dollars?

Why did the left all the sudden become a shill for corporations?

Now comes the wave of what ifs?
    Hilarious

Laws voted in by Florida voters and its legislation to protect 5 year old children from being indoctrinated by trans and gay sexualization are not unjust.
NEVER HAVE BEEN, NEVER WILL BE
As a matter of fact, its already against the law to try and sexualize 5 year olds with ANYTHING if you didn't know any better

Those laws have NOTHING to do with Disney other than Disney wanting to make their woke political statement forced down the throats of Florida taxpayers.
Its none of Disneys business and I for one am ecstatic it cost them 123 billion in stock value, the loss of their idiotic CEO, and their reputation with stock holders.

If you think its so important to Disney, then why aren't you crying about them withdrawing their threat to try and repeal the law now?
Funny how **** works out, huh

You are celebrating a company backing down because they are being attacked by the government over their speech.

Yeh, I hope all voters see what y’all stand for and vote accordingly.

I hope you get to experience the same end of what you are cheering on others one day.

What is “funny” is what ron is doing to his national image and hasn’t even announced a run

Y’all are not going to like what happens when the youth vote opens up.

It's enlightening really. When republicans won the house, many in here cheered the GOP had finally found their identity again, being the party of regan. Now they are cheering on a a government punishing a company for exercising their 1st amendment rights.

Yeah, we are all very sorry your beloved Disney doesn't get to indoctrinate 5 year olds with their woke trans and gay agenda. We realize so many were counting on that. Sorry for your loss

The bill they were against was in public schools and has now been pushed to grades k through 12.

But sure, whatever you need to tell yourself. This will be just like the same sex marriage war that you people brought, y’all won several battles but in the end — hate falls.

What bill prohibits Disney from indoctrinating 5 year olds? Did something pass recently? If not, why isn't DeSantis doing anything about this?

There are 1900 special districts in Florida. Did DeSantis dissolve them?

My OP says DeSantis is considering extra taxes. That is punishment, right? When did righties support increased taxes?

That's because this isn't about indoctrinating anyone. It's about punishing companies who speak out against the government. Republicans have long yearned for an authoritarian leader.

Did they try to interfere with politics?
What did you have to say when the IRS was weaponized against people?

So if you don't want to face reprisals from the government, don't get involved with politics? I thought this was about enacting fair laws across all districts, not punishment?

I don't think the IRS should have targeted anyone, but then again they shouldn't have gotten involved with politics, right?
