My sister went a couple of years ago, I think in 2016. They had a blast. They did not go into the Magic Kingdom park, but they did go into EPCOT and a couple of other parks that are for teenagers. They had a blast, but it was expensive. The hotel room was cheap and received a big discount on the tickets to the park, but the food, their main complaint, was expensive. They were spending some $200 plus a day. Her husband commented that it is about as expensive to go on a 7-day ocean cruise as a moderate-price cruise vacation. You spend that much on food and drinks alone if you are not too careful.

For me, it was 1986 when I went. My sister had her Cinderella dinner in the Magic Kingdom. The best food was at the Japanese restaurant in EPCOT at that time. German restaurant was also pretty good. Not sure if either of them are there now. Went to the land of China, and had fun with that "ride." And most of the rides I did enjoy in EPCOT. MGM Park was just getting started being built.

I think Disney did. The governing board for Sandy Creek gave Disney the authority. That is what investment districts do. They are not the government but act as one, in a manner of speaking. And in 1960s, the Florida legislature gave that authority to the Sandy Creek governering body. Now, DeSantis, who thought he could control Disney with the new board, is now eyeing increasing hotel taxes, which will hurt all of Florida's tourist attractions, and toll roads, which will also hurt most of Florida. He tried to get rid of the special district, but the bond package would have increased property taxes on all of Florida too. So, yes, he is pissed, in a manner of speaking because he did not think this all the way through with his feud.

That affects stockholder equity, or more precisely, additional paid-in capital. But if you look at Disney's net profit over the years, only one year were they in a loss. In prior years, and up to 2022, they had a net profit. The only year wsa year ending 9/30/2019, which they had a loss.

Share prices affect the company's ability to borrow, to fund projects such as movies, TV shows, streaming services, etc. But they are not incurring losses, or deficits the way you are thinking.
