Yeah, they took big hits with the NASCAR crowd, fraternities, softball and bowling leagues, and spring break revelers everywhere, not captured the Rue Paul crowd.

In what fantasy world is 5 days a "proper context" in the business world? I'd be fired if I pulled the **** you just tried to pull.

lol I doubt McDonalds would really care if you did that. Tracking the price of a stock related to when the incident that would affect said stock is the best context one can have. Is it perfect? No. Certainly better than looking at multiple years. As I said earlier in the thread, "I think using singular stock prices as an indicator of performance is risky at best. Prices can fluctuate heavily at certain times so I'm more interested to see what the bud light stock price is in 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month from now." Sales reports should be coming soon too.

There are numerous agencies that have self sabotaged by alienating their support base for people that arent going to support them no matter what they do. I look at the BSA and think...holy crap...how stupid were they to completely alienate their support base (and compromise their very principles and values) to attract a population...that doesnt procreate and seldom puts their kids in scouting?

This Bud marketing director thinks that sending special made cans of beer to a man that has made a mockery of being a 'real' woman is going toin spire trans and gay people to rush out and become bud light drinkers? And that it is literally a good idea to deliberately alienate their current market base?

    Someone should have been fired.

Lol, every business would care if I tried to limit my evaluation to 5 days. No one with any experience in business is treating y'alls **** remotely seriously, and you know it.

It was a dumb marketing move. I imagine that conservative blue collar workers are more likely to drink bud, where as more affluent liberals are more likely to drink IPAs and wine. So they were pandering to the wrong crowd. They should put a swastika on the bud light can if they really want it to sell.

You are right...it way too early to tell if those that have bailed on Bud Light will ever go back to bud light. The bigger question is will they gain enough new beer drinkers to replace the ones they will lose.

I suspect the answer to that is no...but time will tell.

Yardmeat "Hey heres the stock report for the last 5 years"

Anyone who is looking at stock prices without looking at trend analysis needs to be fired. Find a single MBA that disagrees with me on that one.

I'm sorry you assume that I work with lobotomized idiots. I do not. Rational people with experience in business know what trend analysis is. They aren't as braindead as the fantasy characters you've presented.

It shows a reaction by the investors which has them thinking the stock prices will tank because of poor sales.

Bud is jumped from a low of $45 per share to just over $64 a share in the last six months. The high was $66 and they are now at $64.28.
Not really a reason for them to freak out.

Now Republicans are freaking out cause, well, they just like to freak out over anything gay.

Dude - Look back at the start of the whole cancel culture "thing". It got rolling when conservatives "cancelled" the Dixie Chicks cause they
bad-mouthed President Bush. So you might want a few mirrors in that glass house of yours.

That would be a worthwhile discussion. Looking at Disney from 5 days ago to now, not so much. Get it now?

Short-term reactions from investors are virtually meaningless.

I'll stick with my MBA. No one with any kind of business experience is going to base their opinion on a 5-day fluctuation.

You are pretending that 5 day fluctuations are the basis for business analysis. I've never seen a more business-illiterate take. You stick with your superstitions, though. I'll go with my career.

I'm looking at the stock trend since they sponsored the trans that angered people. As of now, that's the best piece of evidence we have of Bud Lights performance. You do whatever you wish, again I'll stick with reality and you can peddle your fantasy.
