Very few of the mass shooting that occur in schools involve people that bought legal firearms. MOST of the day to day mass shootings your sources document do not involve firearms purchased legally by the shooters. And I frankly dont give a **** that you are unwilling to be honest about the role race and culture plays in all of this...it just means they are going to continue. If you are good with that then by all means...keep doing what you are doing.

Nope. Most of the mass shootings around the country are gang/crime related, and we know who is responsible for 54% of those murders.

I think your putting the chicken before the egg.

They want to pretend that the glorification of the criminal misuse of firearms that you can see here in one of these common videos has nothing to do with the cultural issues that drive this.

I don't know anyone who is not okay with the government taking away the guns of criminals who misuse them

The tragic reality is that its NOT about 'race'.

Black Americans make up about 13% of the population. young black men...between the ages of 15 and 25...make up about 3-4% of the overall black population and lets go even FURTHER...about 57% of black Americans live in middle to upper income communities....so you can cut that 3-4% down to about 2%...OF THE BLACK AMERICAN COMMUNITY. Not 2% of the American population...but 2% of the BLACK AMERICAN community. That 2% of the black American community is responsible for the VAST MAJORITY OF ALL mass shootings and homicides in the country.

Thems the facts. People can do whatever the **** they want with it...but most will **** themselves and insist that its because of some confederate statues or flags or the slave trade from 200 years ago.

Black lives dont matter. At all.

Yep. Alabama is a Republican led state and has been for many years....thanks for pointing that out ....which has absolutely no bearing on why this happened, well, unless races is all that matters to you

The right is so worried about deflecting from the gun, they will make any excuse as to why the shooting happened, but it "can't be the gun".

Trust me....If these mass killings happened because of a specific drug, we would go to "war" on that drug. If these mass killings happened because of bombs, we would find a way to regulate, if not outright ban, the ingredients used to make that bomb. No matter what causes these mass killings we as a society would work on ways to stop them, but when it comes to guns, even discussing the gun is a non-starter

Actually. I think the OP is implying it.

That's seems to be the only purpose of the thread.
    Not the tragedy itself.

What I said was 100% true and factual. You continue to try to conflate mass shootings as recorded by the FBI and mass shootings as a result of the day to day violence. Pick a point.

Where your new source is CORRECT (and I affirmed) is with what is normally documented as 'mass killings'...those mass killings that tend to make the papers and people wring their hands about. MOST MASS SHOOTERS AT SCHOOL are NOT perpetrated by shooters that have purchased firearms legally, but it IS correct that most of the 142 mass shootings committed since 1982 WERE in fact committed by people that purchased firearms legally. Which means the emphasis on ARs and background checks and all the other anti-gun silliness is not relevant.
    https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2012/12/mass-shootings-mother-jones-full-data/

THIS story and the source you posted...
    https://www.gunviolencearchive.org/reports/mass-shooting
shows the VAST majority of the day to day 'mass shootings' you cite ARE NOT perpetrated by people that purchased their firearms legally.

    Again...pick an argument.

because when felons engaged in felonious actions kill other felons, it is hard for gun banners to use that to convince Suzy Soccer Mom that gun bans are needed. The political agenda for the gun banning movement is one that sees white Christian, Conservative, middle to wealthy males as the enemy of most groups that support gun banning as a political weapon: abortion rights activists, environmental extremists, animal rights whack jobs, gender confused advocates ,the LBQTXYZ , the feminist movement etc. When the NRA and GOP instituted a program where convicted felons caught with guns were federally charged (rather than sent to the county DA) the ACLU and NAACP complained since so many felons jailed for having illegal firearms, were black

You're allowed to point out the race of the shooter or the race of the criminal like the left does here all the time as long as the skin color is white.

But if the same thing happens on the flip side of the coin, suddenly it's racist...

So no one particularly cares when the people complaining about it do the same thing.
