Black guys getting shot walking home happen every day in Chicago and none of it is reported because it’s BLACK ON BLACK crime and the MSM IGNORES IT!!!

Yes, but it's so much more than that. If the above is true, how come I had to go to Twitter, six hours after the first report of Wadeville by the MSM, to find out the skin color of the shooter and the victims? You know why? Because the media only tells us what they think we should know, and some are so living in a bubble of delusion, they fall for it every time. Yes, there are things cities can do, but don't, because of politics.

I'm sure states would contribute money to cities if they knew the cities would actually use the funding to help lower crime. But why throw money at cities who clearly don't want to put forth effort to fix the issue?

Back in the day when you could order a gun through the Sears catalog and get it in the mail these shootings just didn’t seem to occur as much as they do today. But back then gangs weren’t as prevalent as they are now, same with the attitude that if someone disses you they need to eat lead. I guess this is what happens when violence is glorified in some circles.

 

Cities have to follow State laws. They can't release criminals for no reason at all. State laws have to be followed.
Cities don't make their own laws on who to lock up.

States can make it so money they give to cities for certain projects is used explicitly for those projects.

Why are "mass shootings" a hot button topic for the left blaming guns, but they NEVER want to talk about the statistic above?

 

The left doesn’t seem to care about the hundreds of thousands of overdose deaths over the years, probably because there’s no political or social benefit for them to be concerned. So they legalize drugs, make it easier for addicts to take them and simply ignore the bodies on the street.

Regarding shootings, the left doesn’t care if thousands of people are shot if theyre shot one at a time. I’ll bet the day Travon Martin was shot there were plenty of other murders in cities like St Louis, Baltimore and Chicago which got no attention at all. It’s only the shootings they can politicize that they care about, even if they have to invent a new class of people: white hispanic.

 

Add cnn, huffpo, to that list of people getting paid for clicks.

When the left pretends the media doesn't favor mass shooting reports depending on race, then claims racism because someone dared to mention it, who is the actual racist?

When the left ignores real race data for their own political purpose, who is the racist?

When the real data provides the actual accountability, is that now racist as well?
Data like over 54% of all violent crime is committed by 13% of the population, but lets ignore that data because its racist?
How about violent gun deaths per 100,000 population? Do we want to discuss those numbers per state or is that racist?
Like Illinois whites are 6 per 100,000 while blacks are 54 per 100,000
And heres the real kicker. Out of 50 states, there isn't a single data set that shows where blacks aren't higher than every other race, in every state per 100,000. Not one.

So why is it when someone makes a post about another black shooting that becomes yesterdays news overnight, the poster is now racist. Does this mean you are comfortable with these being yesterdays news just because they are black, or are you more interested in pointing your finger because it makes you feel better about it being yesterdays news?

If the shooter was white, you would be all over that fact. But, since the shooter(s) is probably black, you don't want anyone to point that out.

Ethicity makes a huge difference in trying to find a root cause and fix problems. Do you honestly think that there is no difference in the cause of gun violence between black teens who are killed at a rate of over 27/100k and that of white teens at 3.3/100k? For the math challenged, when one white kid gets killed, 8 or more black kids get killed and there are 5 times more white kids.
