Sadly that is not the case, he is a candidate for president and we should care that he can even be a legitimate candidate.

 

Actually, I believe it's just the grifter in him working on building his conviction, Tax and bankruptcy proof PAC funds to a maximum level. He may get exiled to his ship outside US territorial waters but he'll still be living the good life off the foolish people funding his PAC.

The present case involving Mr. Donald Trump and a rape accusation is a civil, not criminal, process. If found guilty, the penalty will most likely be a monetary award. Mr. Trump has many 'true believers' among his followers who will pony up the money if they haven't already done so through a legal defense fund.

Though neither liberal nor conservative*, I had a high respect for Mr. William Buckley's expositions and, truth be known, his vocabulary. The Buckley/Baldwin debate retains its relevance today. Buckley/Vidal discussions were also a delight for those of us who valued erudition.
